They just are choosing so far to not let you revive mid-fight.
Not mid fight, you can't revive at all, even when combat has ended. It makes the whole "Come do a map with me." kind of pointless. People in standard aren't playing hardcore, yet it feels like they are lol.

Fine, then, this better? They die, they go outside of the map and get to use one of the portals to come back. Effectively making it another life.
Do we get increased quantity per added player?
That beimg said, making solo players get to have extra lives would be nice to have.
in poe1 is was +50% quant per extra person. so a party of 6 would get +250% quant
im sure poe2 is similar.
mob hp is also +50% per.
In the few brief patches they released prior to f'ing off on a month long vacation they literally nerfed synergy for some skills including Lightning Rods no longer can be activated by Salvo skill that is not your own and some change to Gas Grenades. It is clear synergy is not what they will be supporting. Once they are back, expect a bunch of other "overperforming" synergies to be removed.
Currency shards should be instanced and autocollected the same as gold.
Playing solo means you have a 100% chance of picking up a div off the floor before somebody else.
