1. Its not PTW you're not competing against anyone at worst its pay for convenience.
one premium stash tab is like 5$ (Doordash tips are more expensive) and you can buy/sell almost anything to help progression. https://www.pathofexile.com/trade2

2. If you don't like the grind then IDK what to tell you all these games are grindy.

3. If you're getting bodied or are super squishy there's a lot of resources to get help and you can always party up.

4. Its early access it says it in plain enough, if you think the game is short/unbalanced say it with me... ITS IN EARLY ACCESS. report the bugs on the game forum and move on.

5. If you didnt like the mechanics on the previous title you wont like this game probably, its more in depth and can be overwhelming, if thats not for you then move on.

6. if you dont want to buy it then wait till 1.0 when its FTP no one is making you play EA

I agree with most of the things except for:

You ARE COMPETING.
There is a ladder. You are literally competing with other players. Now if you self-impose yourself a non-competing attitude, good for you. But some of us are actually competing.

I don't care about trade.

For two people playing SSF, one with purchased stash tabs, another without. There is clear advantage for the person with the tabs because of the simple fact that they have increased storage, and can sort items better and more efficiently and less time consuming which gives them more time to farm and get ahead of the other person.

It's a loose P2W, because stash tabs are optional, but necessary.
A win can be anything a player decides. For some a win condition can be being first on the ladder for a week. It's a subjective goal.

Should they make stash tabs free? F no. I don't care when its such a cheap option for a game that will give you 10 years of free content in the future. Let them make their money. It's well deserved.
