Lvl 95 - Here's my issues with the game.
I'm lvl 95 and after playing this game extensively, while I did enjoy it there are many things GGG needs to address quickly if they want to retain their player base. Here are the issues I've seen...

Warrior is straight up the worst class in the game and is a complete joke compared to monk.

Item rarity is a big issue right now and is causing massive inflation to happen in the market that serves as a barrier to entry for a lot of newer players reaching endgame.

Breaches are SO much better than the rest of the endgame content that it makes absolutely zero sense to focus on anything besides them.

Armour is a completely broken and unusable stat as explained in Kripp's videos.

Energy shield builds are extremely overpowered compared to other forms of defence in the game that it's almost unbelievable that the devs didn't catch this before the release of the game.

The trials are by far the worst mechanic in the entire game and nearly nobody enjoys them, which is made worse by the fact that you MUST complete them to get your ascendancy points.

It is far too difficult to engage with the pinnacle bosses. To even attempt a run in the simulacrum will cost you 300ex/3div as of the time I'm writing this with a different boss costing around 600ex just for an ATTEMPT. That is literal days worth of farming for most people.

Because of the extreme cost of pinnacle boss attempts you are forced to watch a video beforehand on the boss VS experiencing it for yourself out of fear of losing your attempt. The game might as well have an in-built YT video pop up if that's going to be the case.

Navigating the endgame map is insanely tedious and with there being no search filter or means to navigate it besides clicking and dragging it feels really bad.

The design of some maps are very bad. Mire, Lofty Summit, Augury - to name a few. Some maps feel far better to run than others and I'd always prefer a big open map (which makes endgame activities easier too) compared to the narrow corridor maps.

The precursor towers are a joke. Literally nobody is happy to do them and it feels like another chore I have to tick off on my to-do list. Did anybody even play test these?? They need a complete rework because they are trash and everyone just puts a low tier waystone in them and rushes to the finish line.

Strongboxes may as well not exist in their current form. The mobs spawn too slowly, there is an obnoxious mist that covers up my entire screen and when i do finally open the chest it's just a bunch of trash. Why would I do this over rushing to the next breach? I never open them.

I could go on more but it's clear that GGG has their work cut out for them because there is a lot to revisit if they want to make the game enjoyable in the long run.

This is extremely poignant and exactly what I find wrong with the game, myself, as an 86 monk.

Maps are incredibly boring, and if you haven't gotten extremely lucky, you're going to have a hard time making the tiniest little advancements on your character's power.

Yup, they positioned it as having multiple activities to do at endgame but really there is only breach if we're looking at it from a rewards perspective. Delirium is ok-ish, expedition is mediocre and rituals are usually pretty bad.

Disagree on energy builds. You can still get wrecked. It just so happens evasion and armor builds aren't balanced right and not good enough for the ridiculous damage spikes this game has.

That's true. Armour is a meme at this point. Evasion without acrobat is extremely terrible and almost meme material too. Life and energy shield stacking is the only thing that makes proper sense. GGG need to revisit the drawing board with this one.

Fair points. If they fix at least half of them, the game is gonna be too good :]

I'm not endgame but totally agree on the trials. It's the opposite of fun, especially for melee classes.

i love my warrior.

your problem is you play too much, sweated through all the content, got bored, and needed to complain about things to feel like part of the community again.

What a weird take. These are all issues everyone in endgame runs into. Or do you think the game is in a perfect state and nothing needs to be changed and nobody should offer criticism? Get real buddy.

100% agree, lvl 87 warrior which has ended T15. I played only warrior, so I played the game in BDSM mode :x

I have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to armor. Armor works near identical as to PoE 1. It brought my character in HC all the way to T15 maps by stacking STR/Armor and playing a Merc using a quarterstaff.

Little hits do nearly nothing to you, and the big hits that you're supposed to be wary off, don't happen all at once. It's hit/hit/hit/hit that does nothing and then big hit that takes away 30-70% of your HP, and until the next one you can just heal up.

Stop watching youtubers that make profit by making all these bs videos with clickback titles such as "PATH OF EXILE HAS A BIG PROBLEM" and you latch onto it as if its god himself pouring holy water over you.

12k armor allowed me to face tank EVERYTHING I encountered up to T15 maps, and you can get so much more than that. In combination with items or passives that convert physical damage to elemental or straight up reduce it, you're well more than properly equipped for the game.

If armor was bad, and ES was all so mighty as you make it, you wouldn't be seeing all those infernalists dying and receiving F's in the global chat.

I was in the 90's on the ladder when I changed to SSF because trade is draining. Most of the issues related to rarity and scarcity of currency are Trade league problem. If you don't have Trade to waste them on at every opportunity you get, then you'll collect pretty sizable chunk which you can actually use to craft gear with.

Yes the game will get balancing overall. But stop crying over every little thing and demanding the game be made on easy mode.

Does the game requires balancing? Yes.
Is it at the magnitude you're all making it out to be? Hell no.

Try playing SSF, collect gear for your characters, make multiple characters, and you'll see a completely different experience than "OMG I GOT AN EXALT, LET ME GO TRADE TO SEE WHAT I CAN SPEND IT ON."

I started SSF 2 days ago. I got 4 characters at various stages, and I'm playing them as I want. One is on A3. Another on A2, the remaining ones on A1.

I got 20 uniques in my stash, and I'm at a point where I can make a new character that will extremely benefit from those uniques, and just steamroll until maps.

♥♥♥♥ keeps hard crashing all across the board, great game otherwise.

Minion pathing is another thing they need to work on. Minions often get stuck in corridors, or when you run ahead too far they despawn and you have to wait until they respawn.

No way I play SSF in a game with 0 loots. By 0 loots I don't mean quantity, but useable loot and useable craft. I NEVER looted usable stuff for my warrior, and when I tried crafting items, from white blue or yellow base, it was ALWAYS (like ALWAYS) garbage. Always get radius light, max mana, spell damage affix on my warrior stuff. So fun !

No way I go SSF in that conditions. And yeah the trade break the fun, but since there is no loots except for the lucky one, it's pointless. There is more than 1 million players currently, so of course, statistically, there will be hundreds if not thousands of SSF players saying to me "no you are wrong, I got plenty of good loots AND good craft affix, you don't know blablabla". But the reality is that either they are liars, either they are very lucky.

Lvl 87 warrior, more than 200 hours played, never get an usable item, even in campaign, and never was able to craft anything worth. The only craft that was worth was normal/magic jewels I auged and regaled to trade them, because they were very rare so everybody was ok to buy garbage jewels for 1 exalts, but even this strategy doesn't work anymore.
