Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

Unlimited use of town portal?
I'm completely new to path of exile. I have like 1 hour in the original and didn't get into it at the time. Played quite a bit of Diablo but only casually. In that the town portal required a scroll so you only had limited uses. In this it seems like I can do it just whenever? And there's a well in town that completely restores health, mana and all potions?
What exactly is stopping me from just using this literally whenever and effectively having infinite potions? Just... honour? Shame? Sorry if this sounds bizarre, keep in mind I am 100% new to this.

When you use a portal, mobs go back to full health. Bosses will reset too.

In endgame maps, you only have 6 portals per map, after that the area closes forever, so if you don't complete it you have to redo it from scratch with another waystone.

Also now when you die, mobs are completely randomly generated again. And in endgame maps, you only have one life, if you die the map closes forever and you have to reset it with another waystone, and if it had special mechanics (like bosses etc.) they leave so you can't do them on that map again.
It's kind of a softer version of hardcore.

Okay so its a bad habit for endgame/hardcore. And for the main game, I get that currently not dead mobs will get their health back, that's good, but I haven't seen that the dead ones respwan though. So maybe infinite potions isn't the right phrase, but its almost like using a dark souls bonfire where ever I like and without respawning anyone. I dunno just feels super generous.

The mobs don't reset immediately at all. It seems like it takes 15 minutes or so.
