"X% of damage leeched as..." is a leech source that can be increased.
Okay thank you
So Gaining % Mana per Enemy killed is not counting as a Leech source.
It has to have the Damage Leeched As stat?
Yeah it has to have the "leeched" keyword for it to be leech.
If the Passive tree tells me 15% Chance to Fork ... does that mean any projectile that does not pierce has a chance to Fork?
Or does only certain skills Fork?
Reason for asking is I have a Ruby that is in my Ruby Slot that gives me 15% Chance to Fork, but I never saw my Gas Arrows Fork ever.
Like POE 1, the game does a wonderful job explaining its mechanics. All you need to do is search on the internet.
Good to know. Does the game explain that or it is an information that needs to be found outside of the game?
It does say Physical specifically on each skill's stat screen when you have some base value and the skill is doing some Physical Damage.
Oh okay, that seems pretty clear.
Also, base Mana Leech comes from either gear or the Soul Thief Support Gem. There is no 'base' mana leech available in the passive skill tree. Might be more sources for it somewhere or more might be added later but those are the only ones I know of at the moment.
(first stage of Early Access, if anyone finds this topic later it might have changed)
Not only that, but leech mechanic as it is now is completely useless.
Monsters gain leech resistance the higher level they are, meaning you get basically absolutely nothing from leech.
I've tested it with my bow autoattack, that does several thousand phys damage and with 15% leech i was gaining like 10hp per sec leech total, so yea, dont waste point on passive tree for those nor on equipment, as those are basically dead stats currently.
Since it is very unlikely to get a patch in the next 2 weeks, you are better off without those
I'm actually working on a new Acolyte of Chayula at the moment with the main focus being on leeching mana to restore energy shield... with the 1hp Chaos immunity keystone. Not at endgame with him yet but with the current state of leech resistance I don't think it's going to go well lol. I'm doing it for science.
