Focus on evasion or energy shield.
That said.. with the current tree.. it's really not that great to wander to the ES nodes since you need tons of points to even get there. They will 100% change it at some points and give us waygates in the tree to get to the other side easier but thats in the far future.
You can get the ghostwrithe unique chest. That converts hp to energy shield. That alone will give you a HUGE amount of ES.
And I see it getting patched real soon!
Nothing there helps with oneshots in t15 maps tho.
Juggling all that and resists as well is ... hard. With runes you can't replace >.<
I did well with armor + block while stacking strength. But i did switch to corrupting blood warcry after my 2nd ascend. Since it was such a safe playstyle compared to the melee playstyle.
But as Warrior that is currently the best you can do. I don't think it will be too easy to weave in evasion / es in ssf
He clearly stated he played HCSSF ... how is he supposed to just "get" a unique item? :D
And good luck getting your 650+ strength requirement for giants blood 2 hand weapon stuff while also satisfying int stuff for hybrid armour / es stuff >.<
You need at least 3 means of defence. You can focus on armour for small hits, you just need to get something for the big oneshots. Liek some energy shield and block. You could also invest in life leech. You'll also need high life too.
Amour is currently up to 2 x weaker than in poe 1

At least current testing seems to support that.
The overall mechanic is still the same. It works better against small hits but doesn't stop oneshots.
Plus the balancing is not the same in poe 1 and 2. Mobs in poe 1 hit a lot harder, so armour has to be more effective.
The main issue really is that you can stack too much ES compared to life. Once that gets nerfed armour will show its use.
I don't think es in a too bad palce.
Grim feast on the other hand is an issue. But 8 - 9 k es if es is all you have still feels VERY squishy in my opinion
Once they nerf ES, they will realize their whole defense system is hot garbage because armor doesn't protect you for ♥♥♥♥ vs big hits and evasion is absolute worthless because of pity hit system.
To be honest.. I actually forgot about the HCSSF thing... because I wouldnt even dare to think about playing that lol xD.
But in this case he could gamble a lil bit with chance orbs and these arent sooooo bad to get.. well at least shards.
Can work.. still dangerous in HC.. I'm not even sure if 100% block is possible.. there might be a cap. Block and Evasion is decent but it's all a gamble.. thats why people like energy shield so much.
Not a huge fan of acrobatics since getting more than 70% evasion is hard af. And I rather have 93% evasion for attacks and projectiles and dodge roll the rest.
