you would not have survived in poe1.. literally screens of loot on the ground, would be spending hours picking things up if that was the case.
if its white, and not something you intend to craft on.. walk past it.
if its blue. maybe id it and see if it has mods worth crafting on to improve, otherwise drop it.
maybe pick up some rares, just to sell.
hoardering junk to sell for 5gold is not worth the time.
The hooded guy IDs everything for free,... stuff is worth more than 5 gold, but yeah I guess I need to stop coveting everything!
This concept is crucial in late game.
The size of your inventory dictates the treshold at which an item is worth picking up and processing.
the 5 gold was a joke, cause whatever its selling for its not worth it. monsters will just starting dropping more gold then all the items in your inventory sell for, so its more profitable to kill more things then it is to mule back to town to sell junk.
killing more things, will also drop more, hopefully better gear.
this.
Get a quad tab to dump everything into after each map.
When the quad tab is full, then you take a break from farming and clean up that mess.
Or just pull out a 2nd quad tab and start filling that one up as well.
You will get almost no gold if you do not sell your droops.
It is seriously annoying, but going back every 3 minutes to sell stuff is not fun either, so probably better to just sell blue and yellow items, still have to go back quite often though
any item i pick up, is far better to be disenchanted then sold for gold.
gold is not scarce.
If I have a decent amount of currency, then I only pick up what I think will sell for the most gold.
Have seen people coping hard and posting bs , but this is on another level.
It isn't cope, endgame maps drop more gold then you'll make in act 1-6 total every hour.
Picking an item that takes the space of 2, like quarterstaves, is just lost speed in the end.
