How does everyone deal with inventory?
This is not a b*tch session. I like the game, hate the small inventory and just curious if anyone has found a workaround or a way to deal with it.

I realize the issue is probably mine because I want my loot! I killed for it and even if it's white gear, it's mine and it's worth something, but I am getting burned out on trips back and forth to town literally every couple of minutes.

I'm trying not to get lost in the whole reality that you can't carry everything since this isn't a reality based game... surely there's a bag of holding somewhere!!

I was hooping there were stash tabs to buy for personal inventory, but unless I missed them, I'm just lost how to balance my desire to get some killing momentum going without losing loot or running out of space.

Any ideas??

Thanks!

you just learn to only pick up things that are relevant and not everything on the ground.

you would not have survived in poe1.. literally screens of loot on the ground, would be spending hours picking things up if that was the case.

if its white, and not something you intend to craft on.. walk past it.
if its blue. maybe id it and see if it has mods worth crafting on to improve, otherwise drop it.
maybe pick up some rares, just to sell.

hoardering junk to sell for 5gold is not worth the time.

The hooded guy IDs everything for free,... stuff is worth more than 5 gold, but yeah I guess I need to stop coveting everything!

Tbh I played PoE 1 a lot so I decided to buy some tabs, I had a total of around 15-20 in PoE 1 and for my surprised the amount of tabs were transefered to this game, which is awesome. I would wait and see how the game goes after EA before committing to buy any tabs and all, and if you do you will be better off if you wait for the games shop to be in sales so you can get more for less

The time spent on picking up bad items is time you will not spend finding better ones.
This concept is crucial in late game.
The size of your inventory dictates the treshold at which an item is worth picking up and processing.

the 5 gold was a joke, cause whatever its selling for its not worth it. monsters will just starting dropping more gold then all the items in your inventory sell for, so its more profitable to kill more things then it is to mule back to town to sell junk.

killing more things, will also drop more, hopefully better gear.

Get a loot filter that hides junk.
Get a quad tab to dump everything into after each map.
When the quad tab is full, then you take a break from farming and clean up that mess.
Or just pull out a 2nd quad tab and start filling that one up as well. :steamsad:

Maybe they start to do it at endgame, but not in campaign.
You will get almost no gold if you do not sell your droops.
It is seriously annoying, but going back every 3 minutes to sell stuff is not fun either, so probably better to just sell blue and yellow items, still have to go back quite often though

never sold an item all campaign, and had more gold then i could care for at the end of it. after respeccing a bunch of things, and gambling some gear.

any item i pick up, is far better to be disenchanted then sold for gold.
gold is not scarce.

I'll pick up Superior, Socketed, and Rare to breakdown. For gold, I only pick up the highest level gear items I find.

If I have a decent amount of currency, then I only pick up what I think will sell for the most gold.

I believe you , now make a video how you get gold from not selling anything, I want to see it,
Have seen people coping hard and posting bs , but this is on another level.

why are you wasting your time looting whites. only pick up rares or gear with quality/sockets. anything else is a waste of time unless you're trying to craft a specific piece. The less time you waste early game looting trash the faster you get to endgame to loot good stuff and hundreds of thousands of gold per hour.

It isn't cope, endgame maps drop more gold then you'll make in act 1-6 total every hour.

Just pick rare 2x2 items, or items with quality/sockets

Picking an item that takes the space of 2, like quarterstaves, is just lost speed in the end.

most of the time not even rare items are worth it
