I get lucky once in awhile though. Got a pretty kick-a$$ chest piece with almost everything I wanted.
I don't think it would be so bad if the currencies weren't so slow to find. For how unlucky the rolls are, it seems like they should drop more often. I guess they probably do in the late game?

right.. so basically the same as poe1 crafting then, but without 10 extra years of league based extra crafting mechanics, except you cant scour now, and need a new base to start again?
what part of poe1 crafting do you think didnt involve using currency hoping you got what you wanted, if you didnt starting again?
runes are what has replaced your bench.. whatever you used to use the bench for, the runes are specifically meant to replace that.
the selling process is literally the same.
There is no Crraft on your Gear. It's Gamble on your Gear.
Huge difference there.
random gear is the hallmark of all these games...
you will never be able to fully craft a specific item with exactly what you want.
you might want to try minecraft.
