If they affect the economy significantly then it matters.
Now you are thinking ...!!
Div is only 109 ex after all ... thats like nothing. Lets wait till its 350 ex per div. So i can trade in my divs i bought at 9 ex each in the start.
*rollseyes*
Better loot.
Magic find is the single most important stat on gear.
Period.
fair enough. i should paste it over there.
So why do we want to make it worse by making drops and materials less available?
misses the whole point indeed.
What if I told you you're not supposed to be able to do everything with 1 character. Have a MF character for that. A Boss slayer for that. etc. thats the balance they are trying to implement. which is good game design.
this is what they're advocating for when they call for nerfs to MF and currency drop rates. How dare GGG give an end game accessibility option to newer or more casual players!
tell me you dont understand economics without telling me.
also getting a divine orb to drop in the endgame is about as rare as an exalt orb was in the campaign. maybe items arent supposed to be considered 100's of exalt orbs in price? maybe they are just a few div orbs and that isnt that bad because who cares about pennies when you have dollars? jfc.
and again. theyre crafting materials. you're supposed to get alot of them.
Certain crafting materials are rare by design.
At least are supposed to. Mirror of Kalandra being one example.
They removed item quant out of poe 1 because of this exact reason. It was too impactful since it also impacted currency.
Most people i talk to, agree that MF is crazy overtuned currently.
Maybe you are just not deep enough into endgame to have a proper grasp on things. Because no one could see the loot from a 10 breach map and go "yeah thats normal"...
I ran 100-120 rarity through the campaign and ended with 140 exalts after I sold everything I got.
Rarity is broken.
You're wrong. It's working as intended. These are crafting materials. And if you brick rarity increase and make them hard to come by you'll brick crafting in the process. The way things are right now, if your broke as$ can't afford a god tier item, "fixing" rarity won't change that. But if exalts, divines, and omens are more common or affordable you could craft your way into some wealth or a good item to use. This is the system working as intended. So once again. Streamers don't know what they're talking about (with a couple exceptions) and neither do you.
Between what? 160% and 0? You're unlucky a bit then. It does make a difference. But you won't see the extremes people are upset about until you see T16 ish with 400% quant AND tons of rarity increase on the character. My argument is with the premise that it's a bad thing that exalts and divines become common at this stage. We want that for crafting to be an option. But the voices with platforms are very loud and they don't seem to understand the point.
bot networks laughing
Yeah. I valued it right from day 1 in the campaign and I got plenty of upgrades for myself and traded for the rest. My buddy who didn't, got nothing and spent the entire run moaning like a sad mule. Lol. It's a good stat. I could see an argument for tweaking the diminishing returns we get on stacking it. But it should still be a good stat worth looking to have on your gear and certainly shouldn't be nerfed into uselessness
Isn't it? It's like they think "if only it were harder to get pennies. Then I too could buy a yacht."
But I don't think most people are stupid. They just hear something from someone they like/trust and don't give it alot of thought.
they are. they get mad bcuz they want to buy an item and cant afford it. then they go to reddit/steam and cry as long as mf is removed
literally like that in every single game
