Trading needs a nerf

I like that trading exist but im sorry, if you are playing SSF you are way behind anyone engaging with the trading site.

By far the best use of your currency is going to the site and searching for the specific stats you need on your gear and upgrading every piece of equipment when needed, I guarantee you will use less of your currency doing this than by trying to craft just one upgrade yourself and will be far more powerful.

I may be in a minority but I would prefer most of my gear, at least 85 percent of it, come from me finding or crafting it myself and just trading for an item every now and then to fix some resistances or something.

I would prefer to play SSF, but loot is so scarce in this game that you put yourself so far behind its not even funny. They need to find a way to balance this and shift the tide in the other direction where trading is the exception not the absolute go to rule.

I'd prefer if they added factions similar to Last Epoch where there's a merchant's guild (trading faction) and Circle of fortune (self found guild) . That way you're never locked into a choice and you can switch between the two with the only con is you can't use traded items if you're in the circle of fortune and you can't use circle of fortune items if you're in the merchant / trading guild.

I've never seen an ARPG do this but it works amazingly well.

Yeah I am doing SSF, doing T2-T3 maps...nothing even juiced...If I would have just spent the amount of exalts that I have used making my gear at the trading site I would be light years further than I am.

I am in standard league , i have never traded and i am in T12 maps with my own gear and upgrades from crafting or drops that i modify. And i am not a "farming" class , because i am a warrior which is already punishing due to armour mess.

I did not meet any obstacle so far , if you have patience and invest some time playing , actually everything comes up step by step.

I do NOT like what i see in trade chat ingame , and people who actually fall for such prices or div numbers. It is an early access , a lot of things will deffinately change, there is no competition or rush , and people are forcing themselves to compete when they shouldn't.

Trading system will change from what i have read already. Anyway , that was my story

I do like the last epoch system, it really does make you feel like your not completely nerfing yourself by playing SSF. This game is amazing, I just would rather my gear be mostly stuff I have found or crafted....ill probably just go back to SSF on my next character and if I fall way behind so be it.

The game has crafting... you just can't afford it.
Start buying up the omens and greater essences. Get to work crafting these mirror tier items like some of these other people are doing.

How are you saying "no workbench" when you have all the tools you need for crafting anything , even passive tree skills into your amulets through distils.

I am lvl83 , and i maybe used "gamble" option ingame around 10 times more or less. Everything comes from crafting or modifying drops. I do not consider myself lucky , so i suppose that majority of people lack in the field of using what game is providing them.

Did you play PoE 1?

Very little. I am TQ,Diablo,Torchlight,Grim Dawn player and was waiting for PoE2. I also did not play Last Epoch

I think as long as you got the Crafting Material, as long as you put the time in, you should always be able to Craft what you want on Gear, what you need.

I played SSF and then played Trade. Huge difference. with just 4 Exalted orbs I had a decked out Character. In SSF I would've been wearing random Gear.

The problem is crafting is just gambling. In SSF or in any game Mode we need a Crafting system that we can learn and use to not rely on Trade.

SSF here, highest lvl char is 90,5. constantly running t15-16. I dont feel like im behind everyone. Did i have at some point 10 stash tabs full of monk's qstaffs that i was using for crafting? Yes. Have i spent way over million gold on gamble items? Mayhaps. Have i crafted something worthy of gods? Not sure, but my dmg is pretty damn nice.

This game is all about grinding after all. Not gonna buy gear to skip me gameplay.
