So, you will be tempted to engage in RMT (real money transaction) which are illegal because it break the term of service of the game you accepted. It is highly suspected GGG run or fuel directly these RMT websites.
Design the game to frustrate you > you buy currency in RMT > they win
It also force hardcore gamers to play even more because they want to tryhard. So you keep them longtime, and the more they stay, the more they will stay because of the "sunk cost fallacy".
I think most come from players. But since they are around one million players, or even more, statistically, there is lot of items.
I NEVER, I mean never, looted an item usable by my class (warrior lvl 87 doing T15 maps). I NEVER crafted an item with good affix. So I gave up and did trading only. BUT I do looted some "ok items" for other classes, that I traded to get more currencies.
So yes, SOMETIMES, some players loot good items, and sell it. It's very rare, 99,99999% of loots are garbage, and remaining % are not for your classe.

Never play SSF for this game it's completly stupid. There is 0 LOOTS , I NEVER LOOTED ANY USABLE GEAR ! Without trading I would still be stuck in ACT3 normal or ACT1 cruel.
Meta is to get all magic find gear too. Without it you wont get much. They already altered the drops. Im sure they will keep changing and testing the drops.

You don't even own the game, at least on steam so your opinion is irrelevant. Your trolling is low grade quality.
No, not that much players were farming T13 maps after 3 days, it's absolutely wrong :)
And T13 should be HIGH rewarding, not trash :)

That said, this mindset is common for many players:
1)Watch a streamer demolish everything with perfect items and builds.
2)Decide to replicate the same playstyle.
3)Copy-paste the streamer’s passive tree.
4)Try to acquire their gear (worth hundreds of divines).
5)Get frustrated, then resort to topping up $10 on an RMT site.
On the other hand, SSF can work if you adjust your expectations. You likely won’t reach level 100—maybe not even 90—but that’s okay. SSF isn’t for everyone, and it’s meant to be a different kind of challenge.
I don't like cancer, so I don't watch streamers to replicate them. I play warrior, so just that should tell you I don't follow meta since it's the worst class out there, especially at low level.
I tried a guide on maxroll and it was garbage so I went with my own personnal build that work very fine at least on T15, but I am not sure it could carry me to uber boss. It's a leap slam spam build, I use only 3 spells : leap slam, sunder, hotg. I have everything except a meta build.
It's just fact : the game don't reward WELL. I play with 140% MF since more than 11 days, "before it was cool", and I can't get any upgrade or any good items to earn enough currency to buy any uprade now. Im hard locked, I can't improve any gear because everything that would improve my gear cost divines or hundreds of exalts, and the game don't reward me enough to buy any single piece of gear.
The inflation is so insane, that gear I bought for 10 exalts 2 weeks ago, worth 2 or 3 divines now. My weapon worth several divines, yet nobody will never be able to afford that, or very few people. I bought this weapon 50 exalts 2 week ago.
Inflation is insane, loots are garbage. Craft is pure gamble with no deterministic way of doing it (oh yes essence garbage that roll ALWAYS low level attribute). I am so happy crafting items with MANA and SPELL AFFIX for my WARRIOR.
To put it simply, I think it’s more of a skill or knowledge issue. You might be looting the wrong items from maps—those with poor stats. I recently came across this site: https://poe2filter.com/, which lets you generate your own loot filter so you won’t miss out on the items you need.
I’m playing with a similar Magic Find (MF) setup, and I haven’t had any issues with loot—I’ve gotten "plenty" of currency. The main challenge is that there’s an additional tier of items, but it’s similar to Path of Exile 1: the very best items just cost a lot. If you’re aiming for a build worth tens of divines, you’ll need some luck.
It also depends on where you’re stuck. My gear is worth approximately 15 divines, all farmed by myself. If you’re aiming for loot that can give you gear worth hundreds of divines, that level isn’t attainable for everyone.
Gee, if only there would be a standalone client and not just steam version (which contributes less than 50% even in PoE1 and from the starting numbers safe to say it is the same in PoE2) let alone all the other versions.

I won't do any efforts anymore, more than 200Hours play im over with it. I almost don't even play the game anymore, I just wait for a loot or crafting fix.
The way I play now, is I only loot yellow items, and SUPERIOR others (blue or white) but nothing else. Because crafting is even worst than loot in my case, so I won't waste precious currency I use for trading to make garbage items.
So, with my 140% MF and good waystones, I end up with several inventory of yellows items, usually 2 or 3 full inventory (+ titan expansion inventory) of yellow item. I identify, I mouse over items for warrior (2 hands mace and "plates armors", rings, amulets), then I know everything is ♥♥♥♥, and I dump all yellow item in a "1 exalt trap trade". If I get spam whisp for an item, I know I have to watch for it accurately and research on trade website to have the true value. Rinse and repeat.
But the spam whisp hapenned very rarely. I got it with a rare jewel with +%quiver effect before it was nerf, and I got in on a unique, but the real price was not that much higher (10 exalts instead of the 1 exalt I listed it).
And that's it. I just check item for my class, and 100% of time it's ♥♥♥♥, and I throw everything in my "1 exalt trap" to see if I can catch some fish.
