Trial of Chaos is BS
Man, I love the game, but it's just getting too difficult too quick. I was having an awesome fun time, and now I'm just having a frustrating unfun time since getting to Trial of Chaos. I'm already 10 levels over the recommended for it, and still can't complete it. I've played some very difficult games, but PoE 2 actually just gets too hard and I'm not even in the endgame yet. If the endgame is going to be more of this nonsense then it feels kind of pointless to continue, it's not fun, it's not challenging, it's just punishing.

I'm a melee build (flicker chonk lvl 70) i did a level 52 chaos trial, its not even the monsters or the bosses. It's the debuffs you have to choose are way to strong and map RNG for bosses. You have to get lucky in two areas the debuffs you get dealt and the bosses map it chooses. If you get lucky with both of those you can beat it. Meanwhile i can carry trial of sekimas like its nothing, while keeping almost 100% of my honor. The debuffs need to be massively toned down.

Melee is just harder to play.

As a summoner I found 4 Trials to be very easy.

7 trials is harder because you pick up a several ground obstacles and last Chimera boss is flying all over the place. But still fine overall.
I imagine this will be the same for ranger, merc, or sorc.

Haven't ran 10 trials yet.

Its RNG. You just have to learn which modifiers to avoid. Some of the modifiers are just run enders while others are easy.

A good chunk of the debuffs do cater to range players, most of the game likes to cater to range play styles i ran through with witch and mercenary like it was nothing. most the bosses are cheese to range. as long as u just don't get hit which is easy to do.

Which is great design.

when you have to make 10 the "fun" begins... 1 shot boss attacks.. no chance to learn the mechanics cause you have 1 try. after this make 3x10 trails again. hope they patch it and give us more tries for the big boss

Bruh, I did my 4th ascension (level 75) as a 90 on my monk lol. If you can blast T15s, you’re good for it.
Like someone said before. The debuff traits you get are way too harsh. I think these trials are meant to be taken at a much higher level. I'm going to hold off on this crap. Bosses do 50% more damage and take 50% less damage. For real? Enemies slow you by 8% per attack that stack? What the crap. 50% less defenses? 50% less recovery if everything. Shield mana health ect? This is absolutely absurd. Giving me endgame stuff this early when builds arnt finished is crazy. This should be introduced at like Lv65-70+ I tried a few times. Is it even worth doing at Lv45? What are the rewards?
