ENDGAME MAPING DOES NOT FEEL GOOD!!! WE WANT TO USE THE 6 PORTALS!!!!!! AND MORE...
maping with no chance to use your portals after death feels really bad... i think harcore mode exists for that purpose, so why punish players on standart like that?

It removes a lot of fun from the game for 90% of the playerbase. There is no competitive PvP aspect so allowing us to retry maps over and over without a keystone but removed modfiers would be fun. The hardcore players get the bonus of all the modfiers still active and rewards to follow, i just dont want to lose xp and need to farm a new waystone every death.

dont die

If this will be the only endgame, it will kill PoE 2 for most players. Dying in maps means: XP loss, waystone loss, map feature loss, 1 stack of all active tablets wasted. Being thrown into a random boss fight which you have killed in easy mode during the campaign 2 times and not being able to retry that fight and continue learning is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ design.

I have a feeling when GGG is back from their 2 week holidays they will address this. There's enough people complaining about it at this point that they will most likely change something.

This isn't like crying about the difficult. Only a fringe niche vocal minority are upset that they suck at the game. A great deal more people are unhappy about end game. So something will get changed to address this.

Levels 1-60:
regular leveling gets you passive points. passive tree you can see what you're working towards, and steadily get there

New skill gems, new spirit gems, new support gems, try out new skills, see regular upgrades, new combos.

XP loss trivial, re-fight bosses.
(great graphics, WASD move independent of aiming, and dodge...I like it! Fun stuff)

End game mapping:
- discover that the loot never really improves, and loot currency doesn't either, same as it was at level 10 basically...hope for a random rare to perfectly fit in your random jigsaw puzzle of rare equipped items for a marginally boost.
Using that rare loot currency is largely an exercise in frustration. LIght radius, thorns, +40 accuracy... Blue orbs on whites...that's so boring by level 60, still doing it. Hoping for a hit so you can regal it? then exalt? Bricked. That was fun!! let me chaos and hope..oops, removed the only good stat! Oh well, let's do this all again!!
- grinding waystones to grind tablets to hope for hits on the right maps, and then hope you can kill the boss, only to lose all that time/waystones and XP loss?
Crazy that a handful find it fun.

This is my 1 and only complain about the game.
internet hickups, pc stutter, so many uncontrolled factors to die from.. just to lose Everything & more. horrible system

This game is nowhere near ready yet.

Going be years before hits its stride if PoE anything to go by, until then really no point investing time in the end game unless you simply just enjoy it.

With this current player count too, like good luck convincing ggg they need to change anything. They only ever pivot in past when player numbers actually tank, season flops etc.

I think it's exactly the opposite. You can see this reflected in the Steam charts, where the number of players actively playing the game far outweighs the few complaints on this forum. Most of these come from newcomers who are used to the Diablo-style gameplay—focusing on glass-cannon builds and effortlessly picking up the best loot with minimal effort.

Also, those who complain, like you, are just used to avoiding challenges. Instead of accepting the challenge and pushing themselves to improve, they go on forums and cry to the developers to lower the difficulty, rather than trying harder and evolving their own skills

Yeah, I was right about 'the biggest achievement' part of my initial comment.

Why do you keep track of diablo 4, if you dislike it? Some form of cope?

I didn't even know about diablo 4, before seeing this forum.
