Frustration with the Prowling Shade
The Prowling Shade mob could really use a rework, in my opinion. They are incredibly frustrating to deal with in their current state. Their high speed makes them difficult to track or evade, and the added invisibility mechanic only amplifies the frustration. On top of that, they have far too much durability, making encounters unnecessarily time-consuming. It feels less like a fun challenge and more like an annoying obstacle that disrupts the flow of gameplay.

I 100% agree with this, I'm playing a Frost Sorc. and not only is there Invisibility into immunity beyond annoying they can go invis while there frozen. and there ability that freezes you has some of the best tracking I have seen in the game and it completely blends in with all of my ability's. im endgame and i dump towers with low Waystones and i still get got sometimes and its just beyond frustrating

♥♥♥♥ these pieces of ♥♥♥♥!
They spice up the game.

Game is not just mobs sitting there waiting to get obliterated. Mobs moving sluggish and what not.

Got to have some mobs with spice.
Those mobs that hammer of the gods you.
Mobs like this and other mobs.

Mob diversity is good.

except this "spice" is a total meme

1 it squeeks at you
2 fakes an attack
3 you aim at it/attack it
4 it goes invisible
5 repeat at 1

6 i move on because its a dum
I have ran into rare variant in a map, which had specific combination of modifiers that made it literally impossible to kill with my character. It would just disappear, and had such enormous health Regen it would always come out with full health. Had to abandon that map. Quite funny tbh

♥♥♥♥ is not a spice. Sure you can dry it and grind it down and sprinkle it on you food but don't try and convince me it's tasty.

They have very high cold resist.. use something other the cold.

This is why the game gave you weapon swap skill points. You could easily swap to a fire damage secondary build to kill it easier

It's annoying that the shades are able to phase out of receiving damage. Feels like it needs to be tuned.

It's just weird that the monster can use a get out of jail free card and decide to stop taking damage, basically it has invulnerability windows, but it's not a boss.

Seems like it just drops out of combat constantly, which isn't fun to fight against. Very tedious monster, especially if they have energy shield/life regen buffs and hide.

As a solution, maybe if you Mark the shade, it wouldn't be able to turn invisible anymore and phase out of combat.

When you get 5 of these guys as rares, it's a real pain in the ass I agree
