Merc feels weak and I don't know why

I am now with my merc at mapping and I play with a Galvanic shards + Shockburst rounds builds, in the guide he is nuking t15 bosses with it but I can't even nuke rare enemies with it, I have a good weapon, the best I can get on my level I would say, I have decent rings and I have to passive tree close to be done and it still feels super weak, am i missing something about that build :

or is there something I can do for better damage ? my monk has bad gear and a not finish build and is clearing everything 20 times faster

took dps nodes around crosbow and grenades ? grenades mixes with cluster node can do brutal damage

Your gear probably isn't even half as good as you think. I used to think my gearing was good... then I saw what was available for trade and it was several times better.

If this guy is farming t15s that easily, he's probably got a gear set worth several hundred divines.
