After 10 years you still make maps impossible to sustain
One death one map. That means that if you die, you risk the chance of running out of maps. You cannot buy more because the vendor doesn't reset until you level, and you can't level if you keep dying. So after 10 years, we've slid backwards in design and are facing the exact same issues as PoE 1. Yikes.

vendor never runs out of lvl 1 maps, and if you are dying that much, you might do better staying in lvl 1 maps for awhile till you find better gear...

Yes, I can buy 100 level 1 maps for 500k gold, and that will get me 3 tier 4 maps. NICE

I've been getting 5-10 waystones every map, every tier, with 2-3 of them being 1-2 tier up. Theres bending the truth and then theres flat out lying. NICE

no, im suggesting you run the tier 1 maps so that you dont die, during which you might find better gear to stop you dying.. and will def find more waystones to run after.

there is a very obvious solution to your problem you just dont want to see it

Assuming you already have atlas points since you want to be running higher tiers, invest them into waystone modifiers, not too hard to add an extra 20-40% modifier to their drop chances in top of the modifiers on the waystone that stacks.

Rng be rng sometimes though and that's what you have to deal with, or not and play something else.
