I've ran into this bug a few times my self, there is nothing you can do to fix the problem and continue that run, only option atm is to abandon and start a new one.
Other than waiting for ggg to possibly fix it soon, only thing you can do when you run into it is to abandon the run.
Tried didnt work, try tomorrow and see if fixed if not abandon like suggested,
The trials lock you into a certain map, so you can't just keep remaking instances till you get a layout you want, this means when it accidentally gives you a bad map that gives this error, it will never change.
There is no fix, at best ggg may fix your specific map error in the future letting you continue, but that will require patching and who knows how long or even if it fixes it.
So unless you simply want to wait it out for a chance in the unforseen future that may or may not come, the only fix is to abandon your run.
Alot of people run into this error all the time during normal play, however the game will simply retry to load another and you won't see the error unless you have the messages for it turned on in your chatbox.
Give up the copium, abandon the run and hope rng doesn't deal you another bad roll, ea gonna be ea, or not and wait weeks if not months for a slim chance at a fix for your specific error.
no way!!!! now is 01/06/2025 still have same bug :)
