Why is warrior so weak?
When the game came out I picked warrior. I'm now 86 and with some difficulties and occasional deaths I can do maps 15.

However, the whole journey was painful as hell. Some bosses took me 20+ attempts and trials was a huge pain.

Now, I decided to start a new character and try the opposite, so I picked sorceress.

To my surprise, she is way way more tanky. I don't even need to dodge. She deals ridiculous amount of damage and just melts bosses in less than a minute.

Is warrior such a high difficulty intentionally?

ive said this more than once lol. early on especially people were all "git gud" etc. now though there are plenty of people going on about it. armor is apparently very problematic and the armor/health build is basically vastly inferior to energy shield in every meaningful way.

Sunder attack, earth like attack. Thats like a druid in Diablo4.

Totems you can run away and do your own thing while they keep damaging the area.

Build issue seriously, Warrior is easy.

I do agree with lots of anti melee, also agree with lots of anti traditional like skills.
Also, I see people run around 1 hp 9k energy shields.

Why is there no skill that ignore energy shields, then mob just pop those players.

I agree there is balance issues in this game. Like armor break, worthless, garbage in its current state. It only makes life hard for people that wear armor.

Armor break, very bad news for player, but doing an armor break on a mob, does literally nothing.
Those mobs with some fire shield, you just break it via normal dps, armor break nothing garbage skill/utility. mobs die 1 or 2 hits, why waste time on doing extra things. Big boss it really does nothing to them, I always have their armor broken but it doesnt even help literally.

So yes we got a lot of things going against us, so it really makes it a build heavy game.
Sad there is not much against the other classes, 1hp 9k energy shield, should put in ignore energy shield mobs. squash those 1hp players.

You quite literally just put into your post that you play a rangewd warrior and say it is fine. Warrior is the only class aside from monk that is designed to be in your face and you play them by hiding behind ranged and totems? Sure, it's a choice, but in your face should be doing more, totems are currently king, as is going "Haph!" every few moments and stunning wide groups of enemies. Hilariously, that was also the top build in D2, the warcry build. GGG copies homework and doesn't altar a thing sometimes.

As for armor break on the mob doing nothing? IT does a lot actually. You can build your entire build around extra damage to armor broken enemies. By default, it's 25% damage to the broken enemy. You can amplify this substantially+add stunned damage, but again you have to get close to utilize it.

Im not sure about dumbest, but holy......the crowd D4 attracts needs to keep them in their containment forum or something, most of the dumbest comments i see on POE2, POE1 and Last Epoch steam forums are either private profile trolls or D4 fans. Like i dont even know how you support D4 at this point.....unless youve never played another ARPG (like the people who designed the game) or are just mentally disabled and cant pass the beach boss.

Frankly and without any disrespect?

You most likely build him "wrong", which means you didnt hit the glory build that most classes apparently have but you built by your own design and since balance is terrible, you didnt really good damage.

I highly assume thats the average experience, which also makes the game so difficult. It is certainly more difficult when you are slogging through a boss fight chipping down its hp for a minute compared to the very same class, who chose a different way, simply four shotting the same boss.

Warrior is fun early game, in end game it’s garbage you must use meta trash builds like totem or perfect strike AOE spam. Forget trying to play melee or get close to enemies, all you do in the end is nuke the ♥♥♥♥ out of them before they can one tap you offscreen. GARBAGE

I've had no issue running armor break into bone shatter with sunder thrown in when they are broken for extra damage, but it's just...boring. You risk everything to get in and you're rewarded with less clearing speed than a sorceress standing there looking like a death row inmate in a chair, from a safe distance mind you.

Yeah warrior is OP and fun until Utzal act 3 cruel, that’s the TURNING POINT where you realize how poorly designed is the game for melee characters.

Still if you want to potentially oneshot bosses under specific conditions then you should play Warr... I mean Ranger snipe build. And you can still keep lightning arrow along to wipe out mobs with no change to the build.

Maybe you are weak. It takes brass balls to play Warrior. I drive my Warrior around in a brand new Mercedes, you drive your witch around in a used Hyundai. You, a couple losers sitting around a bar, complaining maps are too tough. I could use the skills, gems, and class and do twenty, tier 15 maps tonight, no deaths, but in your hands they are useless. ABC, Always Be Warrrioring.

Im lvl 45 mercenary specced into warrior, using 2 giant clubs, throwing lava at enemies, clears rooms so fast.
Funny, I speced into Merc as a warrior. The flashbang is fantastic for building stun on crowds. Pair it with 3 shot and armor break and you can follow up with a warcry empowered Sunder which doubles it on top of it auto-criting. It's fun as hell
