Evasion Is The Worse Stat

You need acrobatics to make evasion work otherwise it's useless

70% evasion is not enough. evasion also doesn't protect from aoe unless you spec for it (whereas armour can protect you from physical aoe).

As with any other layer of defence, you need to synergize it with something else. Like with energy shield, block or armour.

Every type of defence has a fatal flaw. Armour is worse the heavier the hit (it does nothing against physical oneshots), evasion is pinned against mob accuracy, so the faster you get attacked the more chance you have to get hit per second, so it protects against strong slow hits (unless you're unlucky).
Energy shield is weak against chaos damage and is slow to recover but can recover without flasks.

Evasion also works with the entropy system. Aka at some point you will get hit. Evasion is not a single def stat, you need to combin it with something else. Either armour, energyshield and so on. Specially ES currently is great since even with low investment you get to 2k - 3k

not broken no. you just have low evasion.
1 in 3 attacks is hitting you for presumably 100% damage.. thats alot of consistant damage.

you just need more evasion.

Basic run down of survability. Armor only blocks % of damage, but you need to meet threshold for it to take effect. Armor is really worthless for the one shot spams as your need a massive amount in order for damage negation to take effect. Evasion is % chance to avoid damage outright, but being tied to accuracy of the mobs you again need to meet thresholds in order for it to work so again for these hyper stat padded one shot spams its rather useless. Health and shield are really just flavors of the same thing, if you have enough to take damage and not go to 0 your good. With how much one shot spams their are at the end game your really best having enough shield and hp to out right tank a hit while nuking the mobs so fast they can't get off to many one shots.
