Account banned?

Bought the game downloaded it, immediately met with your account has been banned??

Go write to their support. Random people on steam can't get you unbanned if that's what you actually got banned for.

noone would be using it if it caused bans..
streamers use it publicly on stream, and dont get banned.

your ban was for something else. not for an overlay that copies text and sends a query to a website.

hahaha whatever you say genius. Im telling you exactly the reason why. Go google it. You'll find plenty of people with the same issue. They do not allow it.

mate im telling you.. believe me or not its no skin off my nose. I used awakened poe for about 5 minutes and got banned. They do not allow ANY 3rd parties which the explicitly said in the email to me. Even after i explained it was awakened poe they said something along the lines of 'we do not recommend using any 3rd party'

Just a clarification...did they say that they banned you for using a 3rd party tool or did they say "you were banned for awakened". Because it sounds like you said they banned you for using a 3rd party tool and that you offered up that it was awakened.

I mean this is 3 years ago now but it was along the lines of that. I said i've only used poe trade they said we do not recommend using any. Is what it is. Im not wasting time trying to convince anyone. That's what happened. There is also plenty of people saying the same thing with the common reply of 'it wasnt poe trade you did something more'. I swear on all that's holy that im speaking the truth and nothing but the truth. Got my refund, opened up another ticket with them to see if that can do anything. If not. meh

"I would recommend refraining from creating or using any programs that automates or does more than one action with a keystroke or mouse click as well as anything that interacts with the game client to provide an advantage over other players or provide information that isn't normally visible."

awakened poe doesnt conflict with anything here. it doesnt even intereact with the client to be detectable. all it does is copy the text of the item under the curser.. something you would do yourself by literally pressing crtl-c, then ctrl-v into notepad, then putting those stats into the trade site to lookup similar items.

you most likely got banned for a macro you were spamming.

Mate.. it wasn't no macro nothing. Believe what you want to but that's the truth. Why would i be lying 3 years after the fact. Id rather people just be aware

Your best course of action would be to give this game a negative review and then request a refund from steam.

Simply claim you were scammed since this is exactly what happened since you did nothing wrong and were instantly banned the minute you launched the game.

There is nothing stating a ban in POE 1 would carry over to POE 2 so you are legally within your rights to get a refund.

Depending on your region, Europe for example it is illegal for a company to ban you from a future game if you were banned from an old game, it's 2 entirely separate games.

I'd been alt tabbing for prices on a website. Someone said 'just use poe trade its way faster the prices are more accurate and everyone uses it' I download it start using it. Think yeah this is way easier. 5 mins in i get banned. I wasn't some poe aficionado i had 90 hours was only just getting into it. No macros no this no that. I think id literally hit endgame and then bosh. Game over. Requested support. They said nout we can do we. That's play by play for you

Macros are legal and is supported by Logitech and every company out here, it is illegal to ban someone for macros.

OP should file a complaint with the EU, Tencent can be charged for breaching consumer rights.

There are plenty of people with the same issue, nothing has been fixed and its met with the stonewall blanket of 'waa you're lying cheater'
