To Those that ordered a Key from 3rd party sites:

GGG will not honor any of them,
I bought my key from a 3rd party site and was able to get a Steam Key from the PoE 2 site. I played a bit, and then earlier today got the message:
"Your account does not have access to PoE2 Early Access"
So I sent in a ticket and this was GGG's response:
"Hey there,

If you did this through a 3rd party, you would need to talk to the person you got the key from I am afraid. We cannot assist further with this.

We do not sell Early Access Keys and this third party is not associated with us in anyway. The only way to purchase Early Access is via a Early Access Supporter Pack here: https://www.pathofexile.com/purchase

I mean, I get it, but this response just didn't sit well with me, and it's not about the money "lost" either.
Needless to say, I will not be purchasing another early access package from GGG.
P.S. I never had a problem ordering games from that site before this.

grey market sites are all dodgy. why are you even using them in 2025..
games go on sale and are given away for free so often now, and your still risking this to save an extra dollar..

Instant Gaming is good too. Used it for almost 10 years now, never had any problem. Even got refunds quckly and easily if the key didn't work or i didn't activated it.

But i remember people having trouble for Stalkers 2 keys with Greenman and Fanatical.

as soon as gog came along, and starting buying up and republishing all the old classics, these key sites should have died.

their only purpose was buying old game keys that were no longer available
you can buy new old games now from gog.

every key they sell is questionable.

Doesnt matter, GGG DOES NOT sell outside of Steam, Epic Store and their Website

In other news, most third party key sellers are not approved and in most cases are illegally procured keys.

Don't use them, op is the example of why you don't. Atleast it's not the worse case, generally those third party sites also steal your cc/payment info as well, chances are they did in op's case just they don't know yet.

Considering you can literally buy the game here on Steam and on Epic, this statement from their support is demonstrably false:

My question is why not ask the website you bought the key from? They should be able to provide answers. At the very least have a fine print disclaimer hidden somewhere saying they're not responsible for any future issues.

You got what you deserved. Stop buying illegally acquired/sold keys. IMO they should've banned you from playing the game entirely to teach you a proper lesson.

I have this access issue now after 16 hours of playing. Got the key from Instant Gaming :| Sad noises.

Yeah, that's why i didn't buyed form IG on that occasion. I'm pretty sure a lot of people gonna have this problem.

PoE II should be buyed on Steam, Epic of their website.
