The game is built around 3rd ascendancy which allows you to complete all end game content.
The 4th ascendancy is just for bragging rights.

4th floor sekhema is stupidly easy, as long as people understand base concepts.
Like using relics
Like using honour resistance relic to have 75 honour resist
Like using max honour relics to have as much honour as you can to not lose cause of honour
Like planning ahead for 2 second and looking at the rooms, so you know where you will go or dont want to go
Like understanding what penalties to take on and what to avoid.
Like realizing that you wont be able to kill a lvl 80 boss at 60 when you just finished the campaign on your first character.
Doing the first time fhe final boss is most likely a loss, but thats because you will not know the mechanics, what to do, what to watch for, how to handle everything that is going on.
2-3rd try you should be able to do it, unless your character is superweak, in which case, yea, you will die slowly, but that is a build/skill issue.
I did mine on my deadeye on 3rd try and i was using pretty much random trash gear i found during mapping and hadnt even made my passive skill tree properly cause i was still testing around where to spend my points.
Trial of chaos on the other hand is just pure cancer, the penalties are insane even after the nerf, the trials/mechanics/bosses are trash, you have to do at least 3 runs and hope for rngjesus to give the 3 diffrent key and then try to beat the boss to get your 4th ascendancy.
This is very important info that anyone should mention when talking about the trials.
Now I even reached him with 13k honour from several boons, which I will hardly ever have in this way, perfect run, regarding boons and afflictions. and lost.
Even though I got multiple positive boons on my side and nearly none negative.
His time was slowed, I got +40% damage.
One thing I've to change, I was in complete lack of mana, totally, constantly dry.
Got him to 1/5 down, but then I died.
I will also need 30 speed boots, maybe +6% speed from tree.
No Idea when I'll try him again, but I need to grind better gear.

Before that try, I was constantly running into no ES/EV rooms, without being able to avoid them, then I took off some res and used a device to see further, honour dropped too fast.
Well that's crazy, I'll try ultimatum.
My issue is, I've gloves that give me 45 mana on kill, so this works ofc for mapping, but not against a boss whom I can't bring down soon enough until my rechargeable flask gives up, maybe I get mana leech or for this boss different gloves, or I take a node that refills the flask faster.
ofc my cost reduction gem was on the melee skill, charged staff which I hardly used, need to watch some videos regarding his mechanics, if he always fires infront or if he turns too when you attack him in certain situations.
Well anyway, got a goal now.
ok this HAS TO BE a dps issue, i remember doing him once and beat him. I had about 12k honour, +50% dmg, +40movespeed, monster -30% life boon. But neither the movement buff nor the +50% dmg was really needed.
I facetanked every of his cone attacks cause there were so many time-traps that i just said"fk it" and facetanked his dmg. He couldnt even bring me below 7k honour in the end. I had to do the oneshot mechanic twice and +40% movement speed was certainly helpful but i also had a 2x blink setup on weapon swap, so no big deal.
My relics were all honour resist to cap at 75% and i think 20% extra increased honour thats it.
how often do you have to do the oneshot mechanic? Cause with that amount of honour you should be able to outlast him. I think you lack the dps or something i dont know.
edit: ok i read the mana part. If you are oom you do no dps obviously. i have a different build so i cant help with tips.
Fun part, I even switched out some support gems and felt the damage boost for stormwave, but one of my gems is for mobility and ofc I haven't taken any projectile nodes.
Then charged staff is a spell but also attack, doesn't get bonus from spell damage increase but cast speed, which I've partially on my gear, didn't use it during the fight, as for the -40% mana cost gem, which was allocated to charged staff.
Then I've ~10 nodes which go into power charge, which I didn't really bring to life during the fight.
And ofc I'm doing fine in T16 maps, but I'm not zooming like crazy from screen to screen and against bosses it works, because I recharge my staff to 50s at mobs, just drop the bell and they never tank so hard that I run into any mana issues.
Mostly kill them in ~60s-120s.
Phys damage ~20 mana recouped, but 64 spend for the skill. Okay I need to fix this.
Skill issue, you can do the sanctum hit-less, just keep practicing.
Movement was fine, doing it with wasd, I see no issue there as I reached the boss with nearly full honour.
And my char isn't skilled for ranged.
I can run stormwave without killing anyone for 10sec and my manapool of 893 needs 18s to refill, so I lose at least 1/3 to 2/3 of my dps.
switched a jewel, little more damage, more lightning pen. less ES.
now using a support gem for to reach 60 lightning pen. maybe this helps a little.
my dmg is really low I guess, for this boss and the mana regen is still only at 30%
Going to take a look at curses, maybe it helps me with single targets

went from 20sec downtime 10sec uptime. to 20sec uptime 13 sec downtime. if I switch with my monk to second weapon set I get +120% mana regen via focus and wand (without attuned mana drain)... what a build :D
