99% of skills dont even do damage on a white enemy, the game is a obnoxius existential anoyance
People say power creep in poe 1, when the only valid build in poe 2 is witch spam lighting ball and lighting ball but projectile smaller bouncing on walls synergy spam.

there literally only 1 build in a game, where your supposed to select hundred of custom made build; also minions, minions literally get vaporized, especially with all the constant aoe enemy attacks and floor effects.

in poe 1 i reach endgame with 1k hp melee and no guides, in poe 2 you cant even beat a level 1 white enemy pack, without looking for literal hours of a YouTube tutorial: witch tells you to spam 2 abilities 24/7 and play a specific way or electro break dance all your bar filled with a bunch abilities and minions, and fully spec to damage.

Poe 2 has evolved to random keyboard electro bugalo break dance spamming, like any generic mmo, with only way to win is not get hit spam dodge, and min maxing damage on perk tree.

Just honor system alone in trials is enough to instantly invalidate half of the builds that exist in poe 1, and invalidates even more than half the skills in poe 2 and any close melee ability; that isint just slam the sword to set a trap that explodes dealing high damage or min max its damage hit and run;

The game is just annoyingly obnoxious, existential dread; not hard, extremely repetitively obnoxious and power creep; its so annoying how intellectually dishonest people defending poe 2 are, i seen version 0.0.1 builds of games do better.

literally any generic rpg does better, even thou its just button spam with abilities of different colors; because at least multiple abilities are able to not look the same and still be able play the game.

even a weakest sword in dark souls hard mode does better then literally 99% of all the skills in poe 2.

It not hard work, to just lower enemy hp, so that 99% of the abilities can actually work, instead of just spamming lightning ball and electric projectiles 24/7.

Like its no much effort, to say "lets just not punish the player for the most minimal single dodge they missed out of 1000s in a boss fight, where the player is not spamming the most highest damage meta build witch is the only one that works"

like im sorry, for the harshness of my review; but these problems are so glaring, that they shouldn't even pass alpha build 1;

Matter a fact the honor system alone in trials and excessive aoe damage, should not even have been a idea to implement, when more than 50% of the entire passive tree, skill gems, and unique and weapons especially the stationary effect, channel skill, presence, aura, etc, depends on the player to literally get hit in order TO EVEN FUNCTION;

its a literal issue that shouldn't have not existed in literal first alpha build of any game that tries to do anything similar to poe 1. The excessive persistence of spam of mechanics and excessive sponge enemies are literal invalidating more than half of the game.

Even dark souls has less tedious stressful game-play, EVEN THOU the player in dark souls are punished just because they forget there was a rat in a corner where they pass in order to get to were they last died, to recover souls that dropped.

That's too bad, I guess the game just isn't for you. Move on instead of wasting your energy here then, I think the game is very easy and have 3 characters on maps. Some people just can't hack it and that's ok. Go back to games that take less thinking about building your character then. Not sure what else to say. Hundreds of thousands of us are playing it completely fine with zero issue.
