Jewels in Passive Tree won't go in

I'm not sure what has changed but I re-did my skill tree because I went more of a poison pathfinder and while exploring the tree and tryin to figure out what I wanna do I removed all the skills I had put in (close to 150k worth for reference). I removed the jewels from where they were placed but now they won't go back in. Two have yellow names and one has blue. I'm completely new to this type of game and have no experience with other games like this (other than Diablo 1 and 2 when they first came out) so any advice is always appreciated.

A SOLUTION WAS FOUND

I had to click the three lines above where charms are shown and select passive tree to be able to put them in. Hitting P and trying to do it was not letting me do it. Hopefully its just me this happened to but someone further down in the thread mentioned something and it worked so woot

Yes, they are all unlocked. I have tried all the jewels I had in there already as well as new jewels from the guild stash that have never been in my passive tree yet. Does your ascendancy have anything to do with it? I'm pretty sure I put in one after I ascended but not 100% sure. This is the first time I've even played around with moving points and refunding and redo'ing.

To update this I have tried
-restarting game
-restarting steam/game
-restarting pc
-putting in different jewels that were not the ones I took out (did not work)
-unlearned and relearned the passive tree up to the point of the jewel socket (hey, at least I found a new gold sink)
-Switching to a different character (none of my other characters have a jewel slot available to try and remove and put back yet, was just hopin that switchin characters would do something)
-Changed servers

Not sure if there is anything else that I can try or if there are things that people have ran into and tried and work. I'm still enjoyin the game. Only thing that has changed is I lost 1k+dps on base bow shot and poisonous arrow but I'm not sure if this is because the jewels aren't in or if because I was playin around with the passive tree and branched out different ways. There are probably other things that have changed but I'm still learning and the game seems like it has a huge learning curve so maybe I'll notice something else. Will update list of things I tried if I can think of anything else.

you need money to plug it in im pretty sure. did you spend it all on respec?

If u open your passive tree the normal way, the way u do when u level up for example u can place jewels fine.

If u use hooded one or similair npc and pick "respec tree" u can not change jewels, u have to open it in the first way.

I am sittin at about 200k gold so I don't think thats it. I have thinkin about doin the respec for about a week so made sure I had a good amount left over before doin it.

not sure then. if you spent the point to unlock it and have money and the gem im at a loss. hope it gets sorted

So... thank you because I was hitting P to open the skill tree and that doesn't work. I haven't leveled up yet but I hit the 3 lines above the charms and selected passive tree and that seems to have worked.
