How to scale poison damge (or other status effects) ?
From what i have read so far, it scales of hit aka your mainhand weapon + prob those little +5-12 fire damage traits u can have on rings etc ?

or from some nodes that have for example +10% projectile damage ?!

Poison is chaos dmg. Do not forget that. Depending on class chaos/poison build will melt mobs.

Search "Magnitude" on the passive tree.
There are nodes that increase the effectiveness of each status effect under said keyword.

magnitude only increases the amount of damage from ur hit which is used to determine the poison damage

Poison is based on the physical hit damage of the skill that caused it.

So anything that would increase the physical hit damage of the skill will scale the poison damage applied. Yes, +10% projectile damage increases the poison damage caused by the various poison skills on the bow.

yes ok i got that so far but correct me if im wrong

isnt the deciding factor the flat base damage u can do. bcuz all those boni i can find in the passive skill tree are percantage based

and what i can not find at all are different sources of flat damage increase besides A) the base damage on the weapon itself and B) small base damage variables on for example a ring like "adds 5 to 10 phyiscal" damage

in other words. theres no skill which adds + 1 to 100 poison damage in the passive tree for example

and if i am again not wrong, the skills themselves also dont have a flat damage variable, which u can increase with uncut skill gems

which is also stated in the description under "Attack"

Poison is applied by Chaos or Physical damage dealt by the hit.

Every skill has an effectiveness of added damage stat, that uses your base attack damage which is based on your weapon, added damage, and any other modifiers you might have.
Some skills also have some flat damage, it depends on the skill.

Most of your flat damage will come from the weapon itself, rings and gloves also can have the stat. The passive tree is all percentage increases.
It's why getting a better weapon is the biggest DPS increase for a weapon based build.

Increasing the damage of your hits increases the damage of the poison applied by them.

Magnitude of Poison / Damaging Ailments are a multiplier to the poison itself inflicted by the attack.

There are some exceptions to this like Poison Concoction from Pathfinder doesn't use the weapon but has its own base damage and an additional poison magnitude built into the skill.
