Yes, but I had to make sure, thanks :)
Because when I started playing I had no idea about hack n slash games, and I built an ice build from the beginning. And after 80h I'm not sure if it was a good idea.
But it's also my fault because I didn't want to watch tutorials, I just wanted to play for fun.
So, my bad when i start and going all for cold.
People learn from their mistakes.
The way it works is you basically build your tree, but 1 tree for instance has more freeze build up and bonuses to cold damage, and the other tree has more shock/electrocute build up and shock focused nodes.
Cold can get +1 to skill levels for instance, and shock can get more chain etc.
This also lets you focus on that damage type for each weapon. 1 weapon has +cold damage, +spell damage and +cold skills/spell skills on it, the other is focused on spell damage and lightning damage.
Set each spell to the respective weapon and it'll auto switch to it when you cast.
Much more effective that way, and it gives more power for all the spells you use.
Other setups for the alt weapon as well, but that is one that works quite well right from the start.
Thank you for the solid answer, well now I have to save up money to change the skill tree.
Have a nice day : )
