Locked out of your account: Contact support.

[PVT. Parts]

I just got booted from the game and told "Locked out of your account: Contact support." when trying to log back in. That's it, no further explanation on why.

I have emailed support and I didn't get an acknowledgement of receipt.

Now I know for a certainty that I have done nothing worth locking my account over. I am a very casual player and wouldn't even know how to contravene the TOS for anything that would get an account banned.

To be perfectly honest I have been timed out from global chat on a few occasions for 10 - 15 mins at a time, once for 3 hours for making some crude jokes but I took that on the chin and just went on with my day. Are those mutings responsible for this lock out?

If not, what is going on here? Anyone have this happen to them and how long did it take to get a response from support? How long from there until account restoration?

This is honestly very bizarre and disappointing. Any help would be appreciated.

I also lost access to the game, waiting for support to respond. This is deranged that situations like this even exist. I guess there will be 0 recompensation too, because they already have good PR.

honestly... maybe. They really have zero tolerance for certain topics and can get you banned for repeated offenses.

Since this is EA, I would assume violating their TOS multiple times... yeah, I could definately see a moderator slapping a big fat account lock on you just to keep toxicity out of other people's experience.

IDK what you were talking about, and I really don't care, just telling you how it is. GGG has outlined in the TOS very explicitly that there are certain things that you are just not allowed to talk about in-game.

Firstly to answer your question above I got my EA key straight from Steam no funny websites.

As for the the subjects I wasn't talking about nothing particularly sensitive politically etc just jokes like the below;

What do you call 6.9? A great time ruined by a period.

Surely this is not perma ban worthy?

Either way it is outrageous to not tell anyone why if that is the case!

don't know anything about that, level 70 on my Merc and still going strong. Anecdotal at best.

It's a " bug " present since poe 1 and it happened to a quite few people in the early days of poe 2, ban for 1 day to 3, most often 1 day.

100% imo early access reviews are supposed to be changed/revised during the process. If you love the game and devs do something that messes it up for you why would you keep a good review? It misleads fellow gamers. If I had your problems I would state them in my review with a thumbs down, and when fixed change my review back again.

If you've already been punished a few times, you probably did the same thing again and they banned you this time. Could be a temporary ban.

Would it not say you have been banned if this was the case? It only says account locked..
