POE2 freezing on load screen to hard restart.

Is anyone else having this issue? It has happened to me 3 times now in about 15 hrs of play time. Thats got me pretty worried to the point of not wanting to play the game till this is fixed.

yep been getting this today on a i7 10700k and 3070 64gb

Yep. It's a multi-threading bug. Disabling Engine Multi-threading in the options fixes it, but your FPS will probably tank. The best option is to download Process Lasso and after you run POE2, you go to that process and uncheck the affinity for CPU0 and CPU1.

Now, that only stops the hardlock part of it. It can still lock up at loading screen, but at least you can force close the program instead of having to reset your entire PC.

I hope they are able to nail this particular bug pretty quickly when they get back to it after the holidays. Today, I locked 3 times in a row before finally getting to play lol ;)

Damn isnt that bad for your PC? That's whats got me worried. I hate having to rely on 3rd party programs just to run the game too.
