Keeps locking up my pc

Eventually once in a while, this game will freeze my whole pc ONLY at a loading screen. I don't know what to do.

I have been having the same issue. Worked perfectly fine up until last weekend. I emailed support about it. I am hoping there is a fix soon.

In the mean time you can go into your task manager right click on poe and set affinity, and just make sure one or two of your cpu cores are deselected( I uncheck cpu 0 and cpu 1). That way when it freezes up(because the game will still freeze seemingly randomly) you can end task frozen poe still in task manager and not have a frozen computer.

Just a note, on my pc, the poe screen freezes when I uncheck cpu 0 and go back into the game. The game is not frozen, you can still select things its just frozen visually. I just guess where the button is to start the game and get off that screen. I am not sure if there is a better way to do all this but maybe someone else will comment that knows more about it. Also, I have to set affinity every time I start up poe, which doesn't bother me but might be an issue for others.

I have this same issue I am pretty sure it has something to do with the multi-threading setting but the game runs way worse without it on.
