Path of Exile 2

Path of Exile 2

seektravota Dec 23, 2024 @ 8:20pm
To the devs: I hit a ceiling at level 75.
I'm playing an infernalist witch. Feel like I hit a ceiling at level 75. Hard to get good map keys. Leveling is very slow. And very little room for character growth after lots of grind. And game becomes boring at this point.

Devs doing anything to improve game experience after this poing?

Proof?

This is how the game is intended to play, its an ARPG. If you are bored its not for you.

I don't think the game is intended by the devs to make the players quit at 75.

Let’s wait until op learns how slow it is to lvl when you around 90

In todays episode, OP gets filtered and cries in the forums.

Imagine that. Tons more players will realize this as soon as they hit your level.

Ignore the dumb defenders that clearly aren't even that far yet. Literally everyone is complaining about endgame lol.

They decided to add endgame to the beta maybe a month or two before the release date, and have mentioned several times that it's going to be the least polished thing in the game. I expect this will change before full release.

My advice, play a different character. I jumped off my 79 monk after I realized I just don’t wanna continue with it in the current endgame since getting a single gear piece to upgrade feels impossible. Sure, I’m in standard, but I mainly play as if I were in SSF and I simply can’t be asked to pay some of these prices

Do another character or 5, maybe try out other ascensions, and then take a break until they roll out some end game content changes

Too many stupid reply here. To reply your question OP, level 75 is the first end game wall. When reaching here you need to work on your resist and weapon. If you are minion witch, you need to focus on those minion damage and +skill level. After you cap your resist, you need to work on your ES next. Only when you have enough ES you can go to min max your build next, take a look at 2 or 3 unique that you can play around.

You do all these concurrently with grinding those atlas tier. Finishing its Doryani quest. Which bring to the next topic on how to grind up Atlas map.

After you finish Atlas to T15 you can work on those league mechanics, next, delirium, breach, etc.

After you done those you clear the final end game bosses as the last challenge. By this time you are probably already around 86++. People normally totally quit at 90ish.

So the above is pretty much is your target if you are wondering what am I supposed to do after hitting 75. At this level the end game is just started.

The trading market is pure dumpster at the moment. Anything involving monk and sorceres is just pure ripoff in term of pricing.

yes playing Monk and trying to get gear.. my playtime is half trade page half playtime and I am done with it.

PoE2 is wasting my time harder than ANY game I have played before.... It is all the choice of GGG using this stupid trade page again... the last 3 days I just stand around sold maybe 5 items for 1 EX and cant find a single one for a good price.. bots are sniping every good deal and the market is overflowed with 1 divine trash items no one can afford!

Just being 2 days behind (I've got 260hours) and I cant do ♥♥♥♥ rn... no game ever told me to get rekt like this game did

You are completely missing the point.

No one is saying there isn't stuff to do.

It's just all very tedious and not fun and constantly sets you back for no reason.

The fact that everyone is doing Energy Shield is a whole nother issue.

To be honest game sucks butt if you arent doing some meta thing or have previous experience from POE 1. Or see what others are doing. I don't get stuck but I completely get what OP says, thats how everyone felt at the beginning of EA launch. At least those who got to end game maps, it felt like we got stuck hard which is why we got A LOT of buffs.

I think end game still needs cooking, people saying "got filtered" probably doing some OP ♥♥♥♥. I bet none of you got to maps at the start of EA and understand the difficulty.

My suggestion to OP, you will need to do some research because the difference between builds are HUGE! After a certain point you just cant outskill the content as they are faster, shoot farther, apply effects better than you. Hopefully they will turn down POE1 of endgame and make it more POE 2 but right now you gotta play POE 1 endgame to succeed.

Even just losing every 3rd or 4th map isn't fun though. Losing a boss map REALLY ISN'T FUN.

It's just tedious. Our builds are plenty strong enough. I do massive damage. It's just defenses. There are so many BS losses.

You can get swarmed by random ♥♥♥♥ so easily.

The difficulty is ALL OVER THE PLACE. Some maps are a cakewalk.

--- and I'm talking about maps of the same tier too.

Game just wastes the player's time. Experience losses... one chance at bosses...

All ARPG is like that, whether it is Diablo 2, Diablo 3, Diablo 4, Grim Dawn, LE. You reach end game, it will be grinding loots after the next loot follow by another map to another map. The only difference with those game is the type of grind you do and the gear you get. PoE has more variety than Diablo but Diablo is really smooth experience. At its peak grinding rift is one of the experience you can get from ARPG.

Saying I hate grinding in isometric ARPG is like saying I hate shooting in FPS or I hate competitive match in Moba?

Are you sure you are not playing the wrong game?

The current end game is just placeholder. It sucks and inbalance and completely designed to waste time. But your post dont really open up with that discussion. If you saw the poster here in Steam there are many people already saying this. The grinding is ok, the end game content is ok. What is not ok is the penalty. It is idiotic boundary masochistic.
