How to reset enemies from a map after clearing it?

clear a different map or wait in town till your portal disappears, that's when map resets. Also you can just die but that might be a bit less practical. i don't remember exact timer but it's like under 5-10 minutes if you are not on the map

In POE 1 you can Ctrl-click the entrance. Don't know if that works in 2

Create a new instance via Waypoint that will reset the map.

You can reset a new map by going to a waypoint. Then hold Ctrl, press Left Click on a different waypoint. This will bring out a menu if you want to enter a new instance of said map. This will load you into a fresh map.
