My suggestion would be to use the cascade gem that makes multiple walls and also lower the wall hp with passives. It will break much faster and it's almost a guaranteed freeze, which you can cold snap.
They need to fix the pathing and decide agro ranges better for walls. They also need to make sure Frozen and Time Frozen enemies CAN'T DO ANYTHING. Frozen Mobs will still Teleport and Rares will still use Gimmicks even while frozen/Time Frozen.
