P2W starts to hit

Seems like we hit a wall pretty fast. AH prizes are already insane with multiple platforms where u can buy in-game currency.

It was fun for first 2 weeks, normal players could actually buy good items from AH, now its just over.

I don´t blame GGG, its us players who always destroy a game for their profit.

Its PvE. Pay to Win in PvE means you are a loser. Just farm it yourself.

Unfortunately if you want to progress in endgame in reasonable amount of time you need to use AH. I´ve played well over 100 hours now and I haven´t had a single good drop for any of my 2 classes (titan/infernalist). Everything comes from AH because drop pool is just too big to get actual upgrades for yourself. Just like crafting, its too random.

Not enough good drops on your own character means you depend on AH to progress. If AH prizes are this insane because of RMT it means normal players can´t progress too much. That leads to frustration which leads to quitting.

I care about this game, I want it to be successfull. Its just something which needs to be considered by devs.

RMT trading is not something devs can stop. They can improve drops a bit tho, make drops consider your class so people can farm their own gear without AH.

any solid endgame upgrade you are seeking is 1 of 2 options:

pay 100 divines for it on the trade site (no one has 100 divines laying around, so RMT)
gamble 2000 exalted lever pulls and hope you hit the god roll. hell, hope you hit at least 4 stats.

build making items like dream frags and ingenuity are each starting at 80 divs for the worst rolls on them. LOL

you know what is absolute rubbish? poe2/10

Poe games were always heavy economy games. Aka if you don't invest in trading, eventually you get insanely undergeared for the content you are trying to do. Aka can hit a brick wall. Its all about engaging with the economy and using the currency you found. Always has been. Just engage with it, and enjoy the game for what it is, this was always the way for a smoother experience. Unless you are on the minority that likes SSF or Hardcore which is valid, but those players know what they are getting into.

My guy my Merc is currently half way into Ruthless, literally just found a massive xbow upgrade in the vendor (a blue) that I just chucked some random exalts onto and instantly got a better item, previous to that found a massive armor upgrade from a trash mob in act 1 ruthless. Only have 2 deaths across the characters entire playthrough (not counting the ones in trial of chaos cause **** that trial)

Inb4 inevitable "but you aren't [insert arbitrary requirement to invalidate your opinion] so nuh uh"

"halfway into ruthless" there is no ruthless in this game.

so you have no clue what im talking about then. im talking about hitting T7+ rolls on 6 affixes that you actually need. even hitting T7+ rolls on 4 affixes. weapons with +5 skill, etc. next to never happening with exalt spamming

like i said people not running T16 maps should just not comment about end game or this games loot gambling system. you even know what T7+ rolls means?

His statement is not rubbish, The drop pool is atrocious, there have been DAYS I have played where the best drops I got on my warrior were energy shield/evasion gear, or Intel/dex weapons. Crafting - yeah, 9 out of ten times, I got light radius or % mana from kill - usually both after getting two decent blue suffixes. The uniques I got to dro for playing in cruel or above were all starter items. Honest truth, I feel the game deliberately drops gear for other classes to encourage trading. Casual Joe or Jane is not going to stick around to play the game if they have to buy their gear from the AH, want to know wh you have the currency bots already? Because the only wa for someone who can play for 2-3 hours to progress is buy in game currency to gear up.

dont bother. youre dealing with a tourist having a "blast" in the campaign who will be gone until the actual release to play the full campaign, then leave again and never touch maps.

no value to be gained talking with them on anything
