You're wrong on so much, but I expected as much since you've already admitted to not playing Path of Exile.
Good games will never bee in main-stream - as most of humans are "grey" and normies, casuals and people without even their own personality.
People don't want to learn deep mechanics and think even a little bit. There are games good for people who enjoy only dopamine-boosters like diablo 4/immortal and people who like games like souls-like, where "Action" comes not from dopamine-boosters but by fighting with overwhelmy hard encounters and make them kneel before you.
When one will say power is: killing 10 000 small enemies clicking one button
the other will say - "i have spent 12 hours in this fight, but i have killed god".
How about reflect on your life instead? You're spending your time worried that others are having a ton of fun playing a game that doesn't interest you. I can't even count the number of games I have zero interest in playing. Go find a game that interests you and enjoy it and be happy.
Virgins don't get the hype around sex until they've tried it.
Manual tool users don't understand the point of power tools until they've tried it.
HDD users don't get the hype around SSDs until they've tried it.
Single monitor users don't get the point of multi-monitor setups until they've tried it.
Your opinion is invalid because you've only watched others. Either take the time to play it yourself, or just shut up. But forming an opinion about something with nothing but second-hand experience is about as ignorant as you can be.
