Barely above the christmas day slump today. Game is in free fall. I'm guessing 200k of the 350k steam numbers are all bots and RMT cartel members. Probably even more than that.

Presently the CC for Steam only is 344,398. That is still good cause the primary client is the main source for players. But we will amuse you. With the Steam CC we can estimate a lowball figure (40%) for the other 4 clients. 137,759.2 is what we get for 1 client. For 4 other clients the total is 551,036.8. Add that to Steam CC and we got a estimate of 895,424.8 CC at the moment this post was made.

That CC is a small moment within the possible population total. If we guess that player play an avg of 4 hours a day, and we have 24 hours in a day, we have 6 to use for population count. 6 * 895.434 would be 5,372,608.8 (possible 24 hour population).

It is cute that you think these drops are significant. You would need to see at least a 40% drop from day to day to say this game is going to fail. We do not see that here.

The game still has 6 months to cook. It's out only 2 weeks and you're complaining about lack of updates? Patches require data. data and feedback takes time. Plus, the game isn't even content/feature complete yet. Let them cook.

Oh noes. The player count is dropping from launch. It's almost as if it's the holidays, tourists are being filtered, and people are moving onto the next new shiny thing while waiting for the full release. Such a horrible, completely unexpected fate. Truly.
