left and right click no longer firing weapon

Looking for some help please, when i assign basic attack to my left mouse button or my right button nothing happens when I press my mouse. I am not near any monsters so its not a stun mechanic or suchlike. my mouse works fine in the options menu so its not a mouse issue. Any ideas?

edit this only happens on my mercenary, unfortunately my main, when I am using a crossbow, standard bow works fine with basic attack.

Did you accidentally switch to an empty weapon slot? This can happen if you press X in the heat of battle. Or did you equip a weapon that has no attack?

I came here because I'm having the same issue. Crossbow no longer fires. Only weapon I use as a part timer. Please fix!@

Nope def have my crossbow or bow. Stranger yet is the fact that if i create a new char he can use the crossbow fine. Dont feel like starting all over again.

I found that my left click had changed and it has to be the one specifically for your attack. That resolved the issue for me.

I had the same problem to the point i stopped playing but I finally figured it out. After everything.

1; When youre loaded click on your controls in the lower corner.
2: Choose it will have 2 top and 2 next row in the skills section
3: choose the one with the crosshair in the corner which say Crossbow Shot make that your left click and boom iit will be fixed.

I found that unbinding your left click and then switching it with E worked.

So settings are default. WSAD, Use bound skill 1 not set, use bound skill 5 left click.
