These are mostly answers to OPs who claim the game is bad because they die too often or can't play POE2 like an idle clicker.
So many players walk into the (wrong) forum to complain about game mechanics they don't understand and/or show off their entitlement.
OP delivered. ty for the jester <3
You ruined your own point and the fact you don't realize that makes this funnier.
Yea that's not what I am talking about or seeing en mass. The game doesn't need to be EASY overall, or even nerfed, it needs a casual slider for players who suck. Which is 90% of gamers. Every metric to view player skill goes in a bell curve. Most players are below 60% Skill base. The median is is not you or me. We are the top 10%. You have to have a casual mode in ARPGs and a hard core mode in ARPGs. That is how they survive.
It is crazy we are rediscovering fire here.
been popped in the blood moor as a new to the game noob by toxic fux in the way back. the players have changed but the attitude remains the same. its a cringe daemon
I personally dislike 1 shot mechanics. Simply because it just adds a pointless mechanic for me to press space bar when they do an animation. It's not hard for me, its boring. The people who find it hard are quitting, and its less money for PoE2 which is less content for me. This effects us massively.
That's what you're up against with any feedback, global chat, the forums, etc. And GGG makes money off these people who cling to the game, that's where most money comes from. So good luck on that front too.
LOL nobody really quitting, They just saying they are!
Well Steam numbers don't lie, and I personally know 2 people who have. They are waiting for an update that fixes what they want fixed or they aren't coming back.
So sure there are people doing that, numbers are still good for now, but the idea its not happening and not going to be a problem is like telling me I am a god when we both know I am not.
we had a decline, they updated stuff, people came back, very quick. Now its declining again. It won't DIE like Concord. It will DIE like D3. Only try hards and sweats and cheaters will be left. They will sell stuff at high prices and abuse its mindless player base that thinks its playing something good because they have the KNOWLEDGE to play an easy game, that other players are having a hard time grasping and quitting.
Your life has already been lived here.
OP you wanna talk about F-Tier community!
It's weird because this game is a dumbification of PoE1, which signals it should be friendlier to casuals, yet the bosses are full of mechanics that are not casual friendly. The bosses in PoE1 and PoE2 should be swapped. PoE1 bosses are too damn easy and simple.
The illusion of builds goes even further. Even if you're a veteran and know how to do a good build, the utter restriction of the classes, equipment, and small range of skills -> there's only a handful of viable builds, period. I see no way to do interesting and weird builds in PoE2. It's like GGG went out of their way to PREVENT player's from even dreaming up weird builds.
You'll play your class how GGG demands it and you're going to like it!
