Endgame sucks

Its boring and repetitive. The maps are awful and we only get one portal. They promised us slower, more methodical gameplay... But I am not seeing it.

There is just nothing exciting about it, barely any reward for the amount of grinding needed. Also there are barely any league mechanics to interact with. How are all modern games just downgrades to what came before? 5 years, and all we got was one really good act, 2 trash acts and a laughably bad endgame.

Good questions. I agree the first act is prolly the most enjoyable then it goes downhill.

It’s so funny that they crippled player movement and still made the game a 1 shot or be 1 shot game. This is their idea of hard Diablo 2’s completely broken and unfun 1 hits that get modded out in the better version every time they make a new one lol. It really is just Poe 1 with new menus.

Current endgame we got probably won't change too much outside of new league mechanics, but the fact its still very early.

It's like calling a cake ♥♥♥♥ since it hasn't cooked yet and is still nothing but batter.

You say that but look at POE1. POE1 has evolved so much over the years and now has the most expansive endgame out of any ARPG, and it isn't even close. If you played POE1 during beta and its early stages, it sucked hard, but they kept working on it and released a lot of new content and fixed a lot of issues.

Endgame by their own admission has had the least time to be worked on.

They were going to do Acts 4-6, but a few months before EA decided to work on endgame to have it available in EA.

As for speed, I don't think it's going to be slowed down too much. When D4 was slow, everyone complained and they sped it up. Every time GGG nerfs a super fast build, people complain. Everyone wants fast, and I suspect that while GGG wants combo gameplay, endgame will still be pretty fast because they can't force slow gameplay in the endgame without major complaints.

It's early access what more can you expect it's like 10% finished.

So make a new character, try something else, and just farm endgame for currency and shelf it for a month.

There is no need to rip through the game with a year left in active development before launch

It's early access and end game still better than diablo last epoch and grim combined. Not perfect, but honestly leagues ahead of the competition .

Nobody cares about your world view man.
If you like d4 or poe1 or grim dawn or whatever better, just go and have fun.
Objectivly poe2 is the best arpg i have seen in my life.
That`s still in early access.

To the people saying it is early access. Is this the first time you play an early access game? I cant remember a single early access game in the past 10 years that actually listened and fixed fundamental problems

GGG already has a history of doubling down on autistic design decisions such as the trading. Youre all delusional if you think the release of the game will save this pile of garbage

I have 2k hp, 75% armor, 75% resists and I am not even dying. But it's still so boring. Leap in -> Boneshatter = most stuff on my screen dies. And map "bosses" die to 1 hit from Perfect Strike.

What am I playing for? Fun? Challenge? No. It's just wasting your time to see the number go up. That's all. (yes I hate poe1 too, I hate video games I know)
