This is nothing like what they showed...
Does anyone else see this game is nothing like they first showed? I mean the game looked so awesome before but now it's just some boring normal ARPG. The Mercenary used to have different Crossbows (Full-Auto, Sniper, and Shotgun) also what happened to the attachments for grenades?!?!? Like I feel robed!! They completely just took something that looked so awesome and stripped it down to bare bones boring! Just go watch any of the Class Showcases on their Youtube channel the game looked way cooler.
This truly feels like Early Access and those Youtube Videos seems like the full release... What they had before was way better.
What happened to the whole Pokemon thing with the Witch where you could capture monsters to summon, and they used their abilities in combat!?!?
Did they say anything about all these changes before release because I didn't see anything?

That's literally how the Mercenary plays now? You switch Ammunition, which switches how the Crossbow functions. This seems like some low tier jester bait.

Raise Spectre - the gem still exists, but didn't make it into the EA.

Also go to the steam page and scroll down. The game play in those short clips still show us having 5 Potion slots... What happened to that??? I really feel they thought the game was to complex so they toned it down a lot which sucks because I wanted something more than just another old ARPG.

It basically functions the same way as it does now. Except now we just switch the Ammunition, instead of swapping out between several Crossbox on our back.

Spectres are on the way. Poe 1 has them. These things take a lot of time. (Pokemon thing)

We DO have full auto, sniper, and shotgun for the crossbow as well as different attachments for grenades.

This is a game in EA.

uhhh.. yes, that is exactly how merc plays right now. you press the button to load the shotgun, then left click to shoot the shotgun, then press a button for the assault weapon mode, then left click to shoot the assault gun mode....

Are you feeling ok? you missing something sir?

Campaign is what they showed, endgame is PoE1 a bit slower.

I would rather have the two different weapons, with the different attachments for grenades. Also the Grenade attachment would show up on the crossbow which was a nice touch. If you watch the video they switch Crossbows to change the style of shooting. I would rather have that. Because how they first described we would have passive trees for each weapon slot would have made building a character so fun. I could have a full passive tree for Ice then a full one for Fire if I wanted. But now I see you have a limited amount of Weapon Skill points I think its 25 which is so boring. Also If say you have 3 paths but both those paths converge into one path you can't put Weapon Points into the left one, then point weapon points in the middle because it wont let you put points into the one path after the fact... It's so limiting

There is nothing limiting about how the weapon points are done... you are probably just not doing it correctly.

If you go to the Sorc Passive tree right at the start there is a 3 way split path where you can chose Fire, Ice, Or Lightning damage which then Converges into one path that just gives Element damage. If you put Weapon 1 Points into fire, then put Weapon 2 points into Ice, and then try to put a normal point into the Element damage it wont let you. Which it should because if you switch weapon sets you will still have the points into the previous nodes.

bro.. put normal points in first, THEN the weapon points. Works just fine.
