Upgrade your jewels with Orbs!!!!
Seriously, game wasn't tangible enough as to be clear we could get rare grades and beyond from our jewels to socket in passive tree, when i did it.... i simple got Bonkers 4 passives to my build it was way better than upgrading a single item to rare and etc. xD

If you think 4 mods on the jewel is good try vaal orbing them, you can get extra resistance or stats or even 5th mod.
