Removing Corruption from items.

I used an exalted orb on a corrupted item and it removed the corruption. This is the item I did it on. It was corrupted, I exalted it, this was the outcome. I haven't done anything else to the item so people could see it exactly as it is. Exactly the same but without the corrupt tag. Has this worked for anyone else?
