Size of the maps

Do not get me wrong, I enjoy the game. But the maps are just too big. Sometimes it takes up to an hour to clear every millimeter of a map.

Yea, they've got to reduce some of these map sizes.

Even in the post game, the maps are needlessly large.

You need 20% movement speed boots + movement speed skills. That's the only way to make it bearable

I was very lucky to find / get a set of unique boot of +20% movement speed early on.. did a google (Wanderlust Wrapped Sandals) those.. and I do not want to know how life is without them.

That sounds nice on paper until you have to kill all the rare monsters in a map and one is way back across the map near where you started.

And yes, I also have that skill unlocked with 3% movement speed. But the maps are just too big.

I mean teleport has been added to checkpoints so for just moving about in the acts it’s fine. Also movement speed on items helps.

Wow 20% must be quite noticeable. 3% just feels like a waste on items.

Act 3 is indeed pushes limits of tolerable. Big empty fields that you have to comb for content of maybe one side boss. And they f reset so you have to find exit or lose all progress

10% and melee mobs cant hit you if you just keep walking backwards and shoot.

I find act 3 is the worst for campaign, if you do not find your objective due to how the map is generated, you end up wasting a lot of time "exploring" the huge layout..

Even the atlas maps are too big. Takes too long before you even reach the end point. I think it can be 5 to 10 times as long as poe 1 maps.

Yup, that is how I walk through the maps. Meep meep until I stumble upon a boss and then just walk backwards shooting arrows.
