EU Servers are Absolutely Abysmal

Ping goes from 30 to 9000+ randomly while mapping, anyone else have this issue? Not downloading anything, 295 to 300 mbps download, 110 - 115mbps upload connection

Anyone else having this issue? Today I was lagging like this all day, never happened before outside of 1 or 2 maps and is usually fixed when I die or finish the map.

so today I found out that SSD's are not as cracked up as they're hyped to be.

Thinking my ping/fps issue was because of the HDD, I switched the game over to a SSD. The game absolutely loads faster, but the performance in game is still trash.

The other fix I tried was creating a new instance of the zone, (you have to do CTRL+CLICK), and that helped for maybe a dozen feet in game before latency returned.

GGG did something to screw over many people who bought the game, and they have yet to fix it. They see streamers having no issues, and they think the game is fine.

Game was fine first two days of launch, the fps dropped. Wtf did you do, GGG?

I never got any lag so far while playing this game for 170+ h in the EU.

PoE EU servers have always been terrible. During prime EU hours I'd recommend playing on other servers, it's very noticable ping but at least your zones don't crash.

so you make the experience that ssd are not good because they speed up your loading time but not solve your latency problems and fps drops?

seriusly, when you have a pc with hdd in 2024 you propably have tons of other issues to solve too. like running win 95 and 2 gb ddr 3 ram, combined with a price/performance winning cpu and gpu from 2004.

You should try Flush Cache by typing the CMD command in prompt as administrator+ then type Ipconfig /flushdns command to flush the cache. It is better to connect like Singapore regardless of the Ping the EU servers too many people since the US and other country connect to EU !!! So connecting to EU it's a issues since December. and January too. SO connect to a server with a population of less than 8 million inhabitants.
