PC freezes
I am running the latest windows 11 version and whenever I load into a map there is a chance that my game AND my PC freezes completely. I have to hard reset it. I already read that this is somehow a known bug but does anyone know any workarounds for this? It would already be an improvement if I could stop the process

Try this:

Start the game. Alt tab out, and enter Task Manager. Enter the tab details. Right-click and Set Affinity. Disable core 0 and core 1.

Though, this is only a temporarily measure, not a fix. I suggest going away from 11 entirely or at least rollback if you can.

Why are you opened a post about this when you already have comments in other posts about freezes?

That makes no sense.

It would be the same if I help a woman to repair her wheels from her car.
And few days later I create a post if someone help me, because I never repaired wheels.

And, use filters here.
There are ENOUGH fixes for this.

Disabling the cores did not work for me earlier, it still crashed even though in theory it should work. Maybe I will give it another try.

Why are you posting a totally irrelevant answer to my question? Instead of simply not answering at all?

If you have an additional HDD, then install Poe2 on it. It worked for me and my PC no longer freezes. However, the loading times are a little longer.

Tried it just now and it somehow works I guess. My PC doesn't freeze anymore but I didn't get past the loading screens without the game crashing/freezing/closing itself.
Thanks anyways

Since you can't do anything about the game itself, I suggest roaming through the logs in event viewer.

Or try to run the game as admin or disable data executing prevention.

It's not an 11 issue. I'm on 10 and get hard PC crashes too.

For many it is as it's a known issue (one of many):
