Can't go to trial in act 2 cruel

Unsure if its a bug or something, but i go to traitors pass, kill the gjinn and she doesn't drop a key. I've reset several times and she still only drops loot, the quest doesn't complete and the option to even travel to the trial is unavailable. Anyone experience this? just need to know if its a bug i need to report or if Cruel's just different and the trial's supposed to unlock later.

i heard its bugged, u cant continue the quest on cruel

Pretty sure you dont need to do it as its just a place holder till Acts 4 -6 get put in, the game will still drop trial tokens you can use however to get points. (Ignore the trial quest in cruel its not required)

There's still the issue that i can't even go to the location though, how do i get ascension points from cruel if i can't even do to the trial?

you need a coin with 3 floors, its lvl 60+ drop, but let me tell you need to be strong to do it, at the same lvl only the strongest build can do it i would say. The location you use the normal act 2 one.

Ah okay thank you, I was thinking i had to do the trials in Cruel i didn't realize i just needed higher level keys.

The ultimatium and barrya coins will both tell you if they will reward ascension points or not in their flavor text when you hover over the item.

Is your problem fixed? I'm in the same situation that I can't go to the trial in act 2 cruel, and I'm unable to get the ascendency point. PS. Im lv 65 now but still have no idea

mine isnt, ive tried for three days now. 3 floors and 60+ and still doesnt go for cruel mode. I completed the whole trial and never got the points
