talk about looking at this ass backwards. Its not about "catering to the crowd who dont like specific skin colours" its about seeing yourself in the game. It doesnt hurt to ask but it does seem like these are specific characters considering they all have voice lines.
The stories are not about you. They are about the people you take control over. Does not have to include YOU in the story.
Only because you are black doesnt mean you are entitled to have you represented everywhere, especially without any proper explanation. We have different skin color for a reason and that reason is biologically explainable.
Which means, if i create a fantasy world based on middle age northern europe, then my characters will look like people from northern europe. There wouldnt be much of a reason to have every form of human running around, unless i explain in the world lore that these people came from different parts of that fantasy world.
Ironically, they're all the same race, just like in the real world. They're actually *classes, not races.
Elder Scrolls on the other hand has different races, at least Skyrim as Bethesda went away from the classes system in the previous titles.
Exactly, too many misses this completely.
