My character doesn't progress along the game

i feel like my character growth way "too slow" along the game progress from lack of gear drop, i see gear in shop have attack like 50-107 at level 33 but i did drop gear level 37 and it have less attack range than 33 not just weapon, flask, armor is way to confuse and now for some reason i have to grind on act 3 not even on cruel mode for find gear that help me to growth my character but 2 day pass only 1 item been change

i didn't try to 1 hit boss but some of boss have "time limit" to kill them i did reset my skill tree a few time to find balance between "survive" and "have enough damage" but i feel like i should have better gear than this compare to time i did spend

i do need discuss about this and find what really issue is if you can help or shared your feeling about this

Playing a spell caster is easier as your power scales of the gems, and if you find a wand or staff with + gem level (easy to find in shops) your golden. I think spellcasters are best for newer players if thats what you are. Dont have to worry as much about dmg scaling.

i did play so many league on POE1 so i'm not new player but i'm agree about spell casting is way easy compare to melee so i choose to playing monk so i can enjoy new dodge mechanic my issue is only about gear RNG

PS: Mana regen nodes often feel like a waste of points better option - flask and gain mana on kill

don't place too many points down the line if you only get +x attribute and not plan to skill later on anything along it.

evasion nodes, you really didn't take that many.

I would Like to get some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loot from just playing the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Not Buying it from someone else,or having to spend 100s of crafting hours. This artificial forced trading ♥♥♥♥ sucked in POE1 too.

every lvl up gives you the chance to visit every trader in the game and look at new wares.

if all fails gamble for a ring at a trader.

if you ever "craft" take a good look at your item lvl, the higher the item lvl the higher the enchantment can be

i'm often have issue on out of mana flask while fighting with boss so i try to solve this 2 way 1 with mana drain wand and mana regen

Cool story, did that Magic find drop , or you bought it just like every other piece of gear in the game. This is unrewarding game play.

yeah getting good gear for actual level with the preffered stats is just not happening ... gear wise I am always underleveled.
