Horrible design ruining player experience to nickel and dime you ensures I won't spend. I'll support your game if I'm having fun and you have my good will, not if you behave like this.
It gets even worse when you get into some pigeon holed classes. Imagine wanting my blood mage ot infernalist to look like a friggin mage in a game where I'm gimping myself for not going STR for the HP or to reserve for spirit with the infernalist ascension skill if I'm maxxing minions. We can't have that, buy one of our 12 year old kid's power fantasy armors for 60 a pop instead.
No thanks.
I bought one of the supporters packs because i liked the first so much but i'll be honest the fact there's no transmog or hide helmet option without having to spend even more money is an absolute disgrace. The game will eventually go F2P so i have no issue with there being MTXs in the game, if people want useless pets and wings and fantasy armour skins then that's cool and if it helps the devs to continue support on the game i'm all in. But to ask people to spend money to change their armour look to one already in the game, or even just to hide the damn helmet, is absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Especially towards people who have paid money for their F2P game.
And yea i agree entirely, i'm running a tempest monk build and at the moment he looks like some sort of sewer rat thief because the armour types i've been getting aren't suited. I want him to look different and it is very annoying. If they made it cost in-game currency, gold, i'd be fine with that. But an MTX for hiding a helmet is again, disgraceful.
Devs if you read this you really need to rethink that. Don't sour a good thing with a blatant greedy tactic.
Fully agree, lots of games gets alot of money because its such a user friendly game, that people will spend their money on the cosmetics, and not basic stuff that should be free to begin with, like hiding the headgear, buying stash tabs with in game currency (D4)
