Increasing FPS Cap

The FPS cap is stuck at 30 FPS and none of the in game settings are adjusting that. However, when Im messaged on DISCORD and the notification pops up, my FPS increase and my ping decreases. Any fix to capping the FPS at the very least that ppl have found that works?

EDIT:
After posting, I found that when clicked out of the game, my FPS increases but decreases when clicked inside. I also have to change the resolution above or below my original res to increase my FPS above 30

EDIT 2:
Opted to use windowed vs either fullscreen or windowed fullscreen. It seems to be a problem related to windowed fullscreen capping the FPS at 30

That fixed it! Thank you! Didnt think a PoE1 fix woulda worked. Thats strange too how it also only capped windowed fullscreen at 30 FPS but the other 2 capped at 60 despite my settings allowing 120 FPS
