Difficulty of Count Geonor
So, not the first time I ran this part of the Act 1. Never had an issue with it my first time, or my second. But trying to get my third character past that fight is infuriating to say the least. It seems like it has scaled up because I have 2 higher level characters I play. I know his mechanics but I just can't seem to kill the guy...I get him to a sliver of health and he just manages to kill me no matter what I do.

My 3rd toon is a sorcerer and do to some failed attempts at levelling its my 3rd sorcerer (the other 2 went into biomass recycling). Does the boss scale to your characters level or amount of times you run this quest on an account?

Naw he'll be the same each time you fight him. You could try slotting a DoT skill just to tag him with it rq at the end of the fight and focus only on dodging if you can consistently get him to a sliver. Wish I had better advice for you but idk your build

Well, I am just learning the game. Started playing last week. I have been trying to balance my passive tree between defence and offence as I went mostly offence before and got slaughtered by mobs quite often as my cast speed just wasn't fast enough to cope with the mobs in higher areas like Freythorn and the areas in and around the manor. I will try Again and again...but eventually the persistence falls and the game will unfortunately be another to a long list I own but don't play.

If anything like when I buckle down and play Dark Souls games too much in a row.

Take a break, let the ol' brain pan cool.

Try not to get too caught up on it. You already beat him twice with other characters right? Sometimes a class just doesn't click. There's no shame in just moving on to a different one or looking up a build.

True, I hope I can get past it because I do like playing the Sorcerer. Was my DnD go to.
